Nanshan was a county-controlled district in the province of Hebei, China. [1] [2] It was under the administration of Zhuolu County, Zhangjiakou. It was the last county-controlled district as of 2019. It has been replaced and consequently removed from the divisions in 2020.
Shanghai is one of the four direct-administered municipalities of the People's Republic of China. In 2019, the Shanghai Pudong International Airport was one of the world's 10 busiest airports by passenger traffic, and one of the two international airports serving the Shanghai metropolitan area, the other one being the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
Hebei or, is a northern province of China. With a population of over 74 million people, Hebei is China's sixth most populous province. Its capital and largest city is Shijiazhuang. The province is 96% Han Chinese, 3% Manchu, 0.8% Hui and 0.3% Mongol. Three Mandarin dialects are spoken in Hebei: Jilu Mandarin, Beijing Mandarin and Jin.
Shenzhen, also historically known as Sham Chun, is a major sub-provincial city and one of the special economic zones of China. The city is located on the east bank of the Pearl River estuary on the central coast of southern province of Guangdong, bordering Hong Kong to the south, Dongguan to the north, and Huizhou to the northeast. With a population of 17.56 million as of 2020, Shenzhen is the third most populous city proper in China. Shenzhen is a global center in technology, research, manufacturing, business and economics, finance, tourism and transportation, and the Port of Shenzhen is the world's fourth busiest container port.
Zhejiang is an eastern, coastal province of the People's Republic of China. Its capital and largest city is Hangzhou, and other notable cities include Ningbo and Wenzhou. Zhejiang is bordered by Jiangsu and Shanghai to the north, Anhui to the northwest, Jiangxi to the west and Fujian to the south. To the east is the East China Sea, beyond which lies the Ryukyu Islands. The population of Zhejiang stands at 64.6 million, the 8th highest among China. It has been called 'the backbone of China' due to being a major driving force in the Chinese economy and being the birthplace of several notable persons, including the Chinese Nationalist leader Chiang Kai-shek and entrepreneur Jack Ma. Zhejiang consists of 90 counties.

Local elections were held on 24 November 2018 in Taiwan, to elect county magistrates, county (city) councilors, township mayors, township councilors and chiefs of village (borough) in 6 municipalities and 16 counties (cities). Elected officials would serve a four-year term. Polling stations were open from 08:00 to 16:00 on the election day.
