The National Institute Economic Review is a British economics academic journal that is published quarterly by Cambridge University Press on behalf of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. The journal principally focuses on modelling and analysis, education economics, productivity, and international economics. Each issue incorporates an overarching theme, in addition to topical commentary and forecasts. [1]
The first edition of the Review was published in January 1959, launched by the then Director of the National Institute, Christopher Saunders. The first Editor was Robert Neild. He was followed in 1961 by Alan Day who in turn was succeeded by Frank Blackaby in 1963.

The Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) was an academic publishing service, founded by Eugene Garfield in Philadelphia in 1956. ISI offered scientometric and bibliographic database services. Its specialty was citation indexing and analysis, a field pioneered by Garfield.
Claudia Dale Goldin is an American economic historian and labor economist. She is the Henry Lee Professor of Economics at Harvard University. In October 2023, she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics, "for having advanced our understanding of women's labor market outcomes,” as well as the root causes of the gender pay gap. She was the third woman to win the award, and the first woman to win the award solo.
Contributions to Indian Sociology is a triannual peer-reviewed academic journal covering sociology with an emphasis on South Asian societies and cultures. It was established in 1957 by Louis Dumont and David Francis Pocock. It is published by SAGE Publishing in association with the Institute of Economic Growth. The journal ceased publication in 1966. A new series commenced publication the next year at the initiative of Triloki Nath Madan, with volume numbering re-starting at 1. Published annually till 1974, it became a biannual publication in 1975. From 1999, it has been published thrice a year. The editor-in-chief is Rita Brara.
