Nebria is a genus of ground beetles native to the Palearctic, the Near East and North Africa. There are more than 500 described species in Nebria.
Nebria brevicollis, belonging to the Carabidae family, is a ground beetle. With nearly 500 species and over 100 subspecies, N. brevicollis is the most diverse genus within the Nebriini tribe of ground beetles. Members of the genus occupy a wide range of habitats. Nebria brevicollis is native to Europe and the Near East but has been introduced to the western United States and Canada. Its rapid expansion in North America is characteristic of an invasive species. Due to the variation in habitat, their diet consists of small arthropods including Collembola, Diptera, earthworms, mites, and spiders.
Nebria livida is a species of ground beetle with two subspecies:
Oedipoda is the type genus of grasshoppers, in the subfamily Oedipodinae, mostly from the Palaearctic realm. The type species is the European "blue-winged grasshopper", Oedipoda caerulescens.
Nebriinae is a subfamily of ground beetles in the family Carabidae. There are about 12 genera and more than 840 described species in Nebriinae.
Nebria rufescens is a species of ground beetle in the Nebriinae subfamily that can be found everywhere in Europe, except for Benelux, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City, and various European islands.
Nebria nigerrima is a species of ground beetle in the Nebriinae subfamily that can be found in Asian countries such as Armenia, Iran, and Turkey. In Europe, it can only be found in the southern part of Russia. In 2004 it was described in Georgia.
Nebria aetolica is a species of ground beetle in the Nebriinae subfamily that can be found in Albania, Greece, and North Macedonia.
Nebria andalusia is a species of ground beetle in the Nebriinae subfamily. In Europe, it can be found in such countries as Italy, Portugal, Spain, and on islands such as Malta and Sicily. It is also present in North Africa, in countries such as Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Nebria ganglbaueri is a species of ground beetle in the Nebriinae subfamily that can be found in Albanian province of Koritnik, and in every state of former Yugoslavia, except for Croatia and Slovenia.
Nebria peristerica is a species of ground beetle in the Nebriinae family that can be found in Greece and North Macedonia.
Nebria tenella is a species of black coloured ground beetle in the Nebriinae subfamily that can be found in Georgia and Russia.
Nebria cordicollis is a species of black coloured ground beetle from Nebriinae subfamily that can be found in Switzerland, Italy, and Germany. The species is about 5 millimetres (0.20 in) long.
Nebria cordicollis escheri is a subspecies of ground beetle in the Nebriinae subfamily that can be found in Italy and Switzerland.
Chrysocoris is a genus of brightly colored shield-backed bugs belonging to the family Scutelleridae, erected by Carl Wilhelm Hahn in 1834. Species are recorded from South and SE Asia.
Pachycoris is a genus of true bugs in the family Scutelleridae, subfamily Pachycorinae, found in the Americas. The genus was erected by Hermann Burmeister in 1835.
