The tombs of Khwaja Pir Ghulam Mohiudin Ghaznavi, his younger brother Khwaja Pir Durab known as Sani la Sani Sarkar Ghaznavi, Alauddin Siddiqui (son of Khwaja Ghaznavi) and many more tombs of the family of Nerian Sharif have been buried in Nerian Sharif. [2]

The Chishtī Order is a tariqa, an order or school within the mystic Sufi tradition of Sunni Islam. The Chishti Order is known for its emphasis on love, tolerance, and openness. Mīān Muhammad Bakhsh was a 19th-century Punjabi Sufi poet from Kashmir with roots in Gujrat, Punjab. He wrote 18 books during his lifetime of 77 years, especially remembered for his romantic epic poem, "Saiful Maluk" in which he turnt the traditional Hazarewal story of Prince Saiful-ul-Muluk into a poem. He also wrote the romantic tragedy, "Mirza Sahiban". Most of his work is in Punjabi and its dialect, Pothwari, with the exception of the book "Yari", written in Persian. A contemporary of Mast Tawakali and Khwaja Ghulam Farid, he penned resistance through poetry against the British rule over South Asia.

He wrote several books, most notably Saif e Chishtiyai, a polemical work criticizing the Ahmadiyya movement of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

It is one of the 10 districts of Pakistan-administered dependent territory of Azad Kashmir. The Sudhanoti District is bounded on the north and east by the Poonch District, on the south by the Kotli District, and on the west by the Rawalpindi District of Pakistan's Punjab Province. It is located 90 kilometres (56 mi) from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. It is connected with Rawalpindi and Islamabad via the Azad Pattan Road.

The Azad Kashmir Regiment, also known as AK Regt, is one of the six infantry regiments in the Pakistan Army. The regiment takes its name from Azad Kashmir, which is the Pakistani-administered territory of the Kashmir region. As per the order of seniority, it is the fourth regiment, but was the first to be raised after the independence of Pakistan from British colonial rule. Its regimental Centre is located at Mansar camp in Attock District, on the border of Punjab and KPK provinces. The regiment has participated in all major and minor operations and wars fought by the army. Majlis-e-Tahaffuz-e-Khatme Nabuwwat is the programmatic name of a Pakistani Barelvi organization and Islamic religious movement in Pakistan aiming to protect the belief in the finality of prophethood of Muhammad based on their concept of Khatam an-Nabiyyin. Syed Ghulam Naseer-ud-Din Naseer Gillani was a Pakistani poet and Islamic scholar of the Qadiri Chishti Sufi orders. He was the custodian of the Golra Sharif shrine in the Islamabad capital of Pakistan. Naseeruddin Naseer was the great-grandson of Meher Ali Shah of Golra Sharif and the son of Syed Ghulam Moinuddin Gillani. He is the nephew of Syed Shah Abdul Haq Gillani.
