Neurothemis oligoneura is a species of dragonfly of the family Libellulidae, ^{[3] [4]} known as the spotted grasshawk. ^[5] It is a medium-sized dragonfly with extensive darkening near the base of the wings ^[5] found in northern Australia ^[6] and New Guinea. ^[7]
