"Never Gonna Change" is a song recorded by New Zealand music duo Broods for their debut EP, Broods (2014). It was released 29 January 2014 through Polydor Records as the primary single from Broods in the United Kingdom, and second from the EP overall. [1]
"Never Gonna Change" combines a "pulsating glitchiness" with synth instrumentation and a trip hop beat. [2] [3] Lyrically, the song is about heartbreak and the impossibility of a clean separation from someone after a relationship falls apart. [4] As Georgia Nott revealed to The Fader , the song was inspired by a breakup and initially conceived by her, while Caleb was responsible for the arrangement. [4] "I was a little bit annoyed at life cos I got dumped," she told the magazine, "so I had vent to the memo pad on my phone and then Caleb and I made it into something cooler." [4]
Sam Lansky at Idolator responded positively to the song, particularly Georgia Nott's "inimitable" vocals. [3] Jon Tanners of the independent music blog Pigeons & Planes compared the song favorably to previous single "Bridges": "A bit more melancholic than anthemic introductory track "Bridges," "Never Gonna Change" marries the group's pop sensibilities with a sweeping, icy look at dysfunctional love [...], as expertly produced and affectingly written ... as its predecessor." Ellinor Miranda Salome Olovsdotter, known professionally as Elliphant, is a Swedish singer, rapper and songwriter. Her sound was initially created together with the Swedish production duo Jungle, which consists of Tim Denéve and Ted Krotkiewski. Commercially, the song reached the top 20 in the Czech Republic, Finland, Norway, and Slovakia, as well as number 30 in Sweden. It was further awarded a gold certification from Music Canada (MC) in Canada, platinum from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (GLF) in Sweden, and fourfold platinum from IFPI Norway in Norway. The accompanying music video was released to Rexha's YouTube channel on April 21, 2015, showcasing the story of the singer as a rebellious misfit in a school.

The song has been noted as a pop, trap, and hip hop ballad inspired by Fado music, with the lyrics talking about desire and craving for someone who's running away. It was one of the first songs Madonna wrote for Madame X, but she put the work on hold when she began working with other musicians in Lisbon. When she revisited the song, Madonna came to the conclusion that a male voice was needed for inclusion and approached Swae Lee to sing with her, as she was a fan of his voice.
"Say My Name" is a song by Swedish singer Tove Styrke from her third studio album Sway (2018). It was released as the album's lead single on 28 April 2017 through Sony Music. The song was written by the singer, Elof Loelv and Tinashe "T Collar" Sibanda, with production by Loelv. "Say My Name" is a minimal electropop song with a prominent ukulele riff that Styrke convinced Loelv to integrate as a central part. She described the song as musically and lyrically different from the material of her previous studio album Kiddo (2015), and explained that working with Loelv helped her evolve her sound.

He is a member of the English-American R&B group Radiant Children and is a former member of the American metalcore band Issues.
