Miss Latin America 2014

Nicole Pinto participated in the 28th edition of the Miss Latin America that took place on September 6, 2014 at the Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where it competed with 23 candidates from different countries and where was crowned by Julia Guerra de Brasil as Miss Latin America 2014.

However, on November 14, 2014 became public the decision of Nicole Pinto, to cede the title of Miss America Latina 2014, to be the representative of Panama in Miss World 2014 after the dismissal of Raiza Erlenbaugh, being that Nicole was the finalist of the Miss Panama World 2014.

The Miss Panama brand started in 1952, when the Panamanian Institute of Tourism received an invitation from Miss Universe to send a representative. In 1975, the Señorita Panamá name was used for the first time, reverting to Miss Panama in 1976. In 1982, Señorita Panamá was created by RPC Channel 4 as an alternative to send its winners to the Miss World contest in London. These pageants, along with smaller pageants such as Miss International Panamá and Miss World Panamá celebrated to select delegates for international representations.

Miss World 2011, the 61st edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 6 November 2011 at the Earls Court Two in London, United Kingdom. As part of the events, the contestants also travelled to Edinburgh, Scotland between 23 and 27 October. Alexandria Mills of the United States crowned her successor Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela at the end of the event, she is the sixth Venezuelan woman to win Miss World - currently tied with India for the most wins in the competition's history. The Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2013 pageant was held at the Yacht & Golf Club Paraguayo on June 27, 2013 to select Paraguayan representatives to the 4 major beauty pageants. Egny Eckert, Miss Universe Paraguay 2012, Fiorella Migiore, Miss World Paraguay 2012, Nicole Huber, Miss International Paraguay 2012, and Alexandra Fretes, Miss Earth Paraguay 2012, crowned their successors, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Coral Ruiz, Marta Raviolo and Karen Duarte, respectively. Raiza Patricia Erlenbaugh Soriano, is a Panamanian model and beauty pageant contestant winner of the Miss Panama World 2014 title on 8 April 2014 for Miss World 2014 contest. On November 12, 2014 she was dethroned as Miss World Panamá 2013 by the Miss Panamá Organization.

Miss Panamá 2015 was the 49th "Señorita Panamá" pageant, and the fifth under the new management of Marisela Moreno. Was held at the Megapolis Convention Center on Monday, August 24, 2015. The event was broadcast on Telemetro.

Carmen Isabel Jaramillo Velarde is a Panamanian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned as Señorita Panamá 2020 and Miss Earth Panamá 2015. She represented Panama at Miss Earth 2015 but unplaced. She also represented her country at Miss Universe 2020 held on 16 May 2021.

Miss World 2016, the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 December 2016, at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States. 117 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Mireia Lalaguna of Spain crowned her successor Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico at the end of the event. It was the second time that the Miss World pageant held in the United States. It was the second time where Puerto Rico won Miss World, after Wilnelia Merced in 1975.

Samantha Mae Adaliga Bernardo is a Filipino television personality, host and beauty pageant titleholder who was appointed as Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2020. She represented the Philippines at the Miss Grand International 2020 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand and placed 1st Runner-Up.
