Niharica Raizada (born 18 April 1990) [1] is a Luxembourgish actress. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] She was crowned as Miss India UK 2010 and was runner-up at Miss India Worldwide 2010. [7] She is the granddaughter of former Bollywood musician O. P. Nayyar. She has worked in films like IB71 , Masaan , 6-5=2 , Damadol , [8] [9] Total Dhamaal [10] (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021).

Early life

Niharica is the granddaughter of music composer O. P. Nayyar. [11] [12] She was born to Indian parents and was raised in Luxembourg. Her mother tongue is French and she also speaks Luxembourgish, German, English, Spanish, and Hindi. [1] [13] [14] She has a sister Nirekhna Raizada and a brother Avneesh Raizada. [15] [16] She is a Medical Scientist by qualification [17] and studied MRes in Translational Medicine at Imperial College London, [18] and then did research in Cardiology at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore), under a Fulbright scholarship. She got training in acting from New York Film Academy. [1] She is trained in Indian classical music and ballet. [1] [13] Niharica was crowned Miss India UK 2010 [19] and was also the first runner-up of Miss India Worldwide 2010. [14] Niharica released one song for the brand Chambor in French. She was ranked 45 in the list of Times 50 Most Desirable Women of 2013, and rose to 44 in 2015. [20]

Niharica made her film debut in a Bengali film Damadol in 2013. [21] She acted in a Gujarati film Var to NRI J in 2016. [22] Niharica has done a film titled Full 2 Jugaadu in 2016 with Krushna Abhishek. [23] [24]

She is the honorary cultural and arts ambassador between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Republic of India. [13]

The Kapil Sharma Show, also known as TKSS, is an Indian Hindi language stand-up comedy and talk show broadcast by Sony Entertainment Television. Hosted by Kapil Sharma, the first season of the show had its premiere on 23 April 2016. The series revolved around Kapil Sharma and his neighbours in the Shantivan Non Co-operative Housing Society. The filming of the show took place at Film City situated in Goregaon East, Mumbai. The first season of the show was produced by Sharma's banner K9 Productions in association with Frames Productions while the second and third season is being jointly produced by Salman Khan Television and Banijay Asia with K9 Productions and TEAM as the creative producers. The fourth instalment of the Cop Universe, it stars Akshay Kumar in the title role, opposite Katrina Kaif. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh also return as Singham and Simmba.
