Nikolaos Christoforidis (born 11 June 1965) is a Greek former water polo player who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics. [1]
Greece was the host country for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, from 13 to 29 August 2004. As the progenitor nation and in keeping with tradition, Greek athletes have competed at every Summer Olympics in the modern era, alongside Australia, Great Britain, and Switzerland. The Hellenic Olympic Committee sent a total of 426 athletes to the Games, 215 men and 211 women, and had achieved automatic qualification places in all sports, with the exception of men's and women's field hockey. It was also the nation's largest team ever in Summer Olympic history since the first modern Games were held in 1896.

Art competitions were part of the Olympic program from 1912 to 1948. A copy of Dimitriadis's sculpture is situated opposite the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens.

The Greece men's national water polo team represents Greece in international men's water polo competitions and it is organized and run by the Hellenic Swimming Federation.
NO Vouliagmeni or "NOV" is a major aquatic sports club, founded by local sportsmen in 1937 in the seaside resort of Vouliagmeni, Athens, Greece. Nikolaos "Nikos" Deligiannis is a Greek former water polo player who competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics, the 2004 Summer Olympics, the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2012 Summer Olympics with the Greece men's national water polo team. He was also part of the Greece national squad who won the Bronze Medal in the 2005 World Championship in Montreal and the Bronze Medal in the 2004 World League in Long Beach.
