Smartphones have built-in cameras, GPS navigation, and support for various communication methods, including voice calls, text messaging, and internet-based messaging apps.
The Nokia Communicator is a brand name for a series of business-optimized mobile phones marketed by Nokia Corporation, all of which appear as normal phones on the outside, and open in clamshell format to access a QWERTY keyboard and an LCD screen nearly the size of the device footprint.
The Nokia E50 Business Device is a bar-style monoblock quad-band mobile phone from Nokia announced 18 May 2006 as part of the Eseries, intended primarily for the corporate business market. It includes sophisticated e-mail support for Nokia's Intellisync Wireless Email, BlackBerry Connect, Visto Mobile, Activesync Mail for Exchange, Altexia as well as IMAP4. It also has the ability to view Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel attachments, and PDF documents but it cannot be used for editing these without additional apps. An application manager downloads, removes and installs both Nokia and third-party applications. Device to device synchronization is possible with Data transfer application. Features include EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0, a 1,280 × 960 pixels (1.3-megapixel) camera, a MicroSD memory-card slot, and digital music and video player functionality through RealPlayer and Flash Player. This unit does not support UMTS, Wi-Fi, or FM radio.
The Nokia Eseries consists of business-oriented smartphones running Symbian OS, with emphasis on enhanced connectivity and support for corporate e-mail push services, as well as enterprise-styled products and many featuring QWERTY keyboards. All devices have advanced office features through its S60 platform. Phones equipped with Wireless LAN also provide a VoIP client. Throughout the series' lifetime its main competitors were BlackBerry products from Research In Motion. The Eseries was marketed until 2011.
The Nokia E61 is a mobile phone from the Eseries range, a S60 3rd Edition device targeting business users in the European market. It was announced as part of the new Eseries business line on 12 October 2005 along with the Nokia E60 and E70. As of Q4 2006, Cingular and Rogers Wireless deployed a similar yet restricted version designated the Nokia E62 in the North American and Brazilian markets. The E62 is substantially similar but without an 802.11 WiFi chipset or W-CDMA (UMTS) 3G support. E61 supports 900/1800/1900 bands, while E62 can operate in 850/900/1800/1900 in order to support American networks.
The Nokia N95 is a mobile phone produced by Nokia as part of their Nseries line of portable devices. Announced in September 2006, it was released to the market in March 2007. The N95 ran S60 3rd Edition, on Symbian OS v9.2. It has a two-way sliding mechanism, which can be used to access either media playback buttons or a numeric keypad. It was first released in silver and later on in black, with limited edition quantities in gold and purple. The launch price of the N95 was around €550.
The Nokia E71 is a mobile phone introduced on 8 May 2008 from the Eseries range with a QWERTY keyboard targeting business users worldwide. It runs on Symbian OS v9.2, with a Series 60 3rd Edition, second generation Feature Pack 1. The Nokia E71 succeeded the Nokia E61/61i models, building on the base design and form factor but enhancing on the feature set.
The Nokia E63 is a mobile phone announced on 12 November 2008 and released later that year. It is based on Symbian's S60 software platform and is considered a budget business smartphone positioned below the Nokia E71, featuring a plastic body instead of metal. Many of the specifications are identical to the E71 except for the lack of GPS and infrared, a lesser RAM, lack of HSDPA and lower-resolution camera with a fixed-focus lens. The E63 does come with a flashlight function using the camera flash, which is not present in the E71. It also has a more standardized 3.5 mm audio jack whereas the E71 uses a 2.52 mm jack as used on older Nokia phones. The E63 retailed for about 199 euros before taxes. The device was succeeded by the Nokia E5, but remain in production until its discontinuation in late 2011 in favour of Nokia's Lumia lineup.

The Nokia E52 and Nokia E55 are mobile phones from Nokia's business-oriented Eseries range. They run Symbian OS v9.3. The E55 was announced on 16 February 2009, whilst the E52 was announced later on 6 May 2009. They are both physically and functionally identical, except that the E55 has a 'half-QWERTY' keyboard, similar to the SureType keyboard on BlackBerry Pearl, whereas the E52 revision has a traditional T9 keypad.
The Nokia E7-00, also known as Nokia E7, is a business-oriented QWERTY smartphone by Nokia from the Nokia Eseries. It was announced at Nokia World in September 2010 together with the Nokia C6-01 and Nokia C7 and started shipping in February 2011. It is the second phone after the Nokia N8 to be running the Symbian^3 operating system.
The Nokia Nseries was a high-end lineup of feature phones, smartphones, and tablets marketed by Nokia Corporation from 2005 to 2011. The Nseries devices commonly supported multiple high-speed wireless technologies at the time, such as 3G, or Wireless LAN. Digital multimedia services, such as music playback, photo/video capture or viewing, gaming or internet services were the central focus of the lineup. Microsoft Lumia is a discontinued line of mobile devices that was originally designed and marketed by Nokia and later by Microsoft Mobile. Introduced in November 2011, the line was the result of a long-term partnership between Nokia and Microsoft—as such, Lumia smartphones run on Microsoft software, the Windows Phone operating system; and later the newer Windows 10 Mobile. It has a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Krait CPU and a 4.5" IPS TFT LCD display, as well as a high-sensitivity capacitive touchscreen that can be used with gloves and fingernails; the display is covered by curved Gorilla Glass and has a 9 ms response time. The phone features an 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with OIS; it was the first smartphone camera to implement that technology, as well as to support Qi inductive charging. The phone comes with 32 GB of internal storage, but has no expandable storage.
Human Mobile Devices (HMD), formally HMD Global, is a Finnish mobile phone manufacturer. The company is made up of the mobile phone business that the Nokia Corporation sold to Microsoft in 2014, then bought back in 2016. HMD began marketing Nokia-branded smartphones and feature phones on 1 December 2016. The company has exclusive rights to the Nokia brand for mobile phones through a licensing agreement. The HMD brand was initially only used for corporate purposes and does not appear in advertising, whereas the name "Nokia Mobile" is used on social media. As it was launched, the abbreviation HMD stood for Hon Hai Mobile Devices. This was in reference to the main shareholder at the time of its creation: the Taiwanese group Foxconn. In January 2024, HMD rebranded to 'Human Mobile Devices', and will use their own branding on future devices alongside that of Nokia.
The Nokia E73 Mode is a mobile phone from the Nokia Eseries range manufactured by Nokia. It is the successor to the Nokia E72. The Nokia E73 Mode is an enterprise-based smartphone and has standard features including mobile email, calendar and instant messaging among many others like the Nokia E72.
