The Nokia C3 Touch and Type, also known as the C3-01, is a smartphone produced by Nokia. It is the second Nokia handset with a touchscreen in a 'candy bar' form factor, running the Series 40 operating system. Announced on September 15, 2010, the C3-01 features a stainless steel body (similar to the Nokia 6700 Classic), a 2.4-inch display, a 5-megapixel camera with flash, Wi-Fi, and 3G connectivity.
There is also a hardware-upgraded version of the phone introduced on July 23, 2011 [2], which can be identified from the RM-776 and C3-01.5 codes in the sticker, which can be found under the battery. The C3-01.5 (RM-776) differences compared to C3-01 (RM-640) are: 1 GHz CPU vs. 680MHz CPU; 256MB ROM vs. 128MB ROM; and 128 MB RAM vs. 64MB RAM.
A luxury version of the handset, known as the C3-01 Gold Edition, was introduced on August 23, 2011. [5] Technically and feature-wise, it is the same as C3-01.5 [7].
The phone has a touchscreen and an ITU-T (12-key) keyboard but no navigation or soft keys. Other main features include WLAN, HSPA, VoIP with HD Voice [1], a 5.0-megapixel camera with flash, the WebKit open source browser, Flash Lite 3.0, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and MIDP Java 2.1 with additional Java APIs. This phone also supports the USB On-the-Go function, which enables the phone to act as a USB host. [1]

The O2 Xda brand was a range of Windows Mobile PDA phones, marketed by O2, developed by O2 Asia and manufactured by multiple original equipment manufacturers (mainly HTC, Quanta and Arima). The first model was released in June 2002. The last models came to market in 2008. The "X" represents convergence of voice and information/data within one product; the "DA" stands for "Digital Assistant", as in personal digital assistant (PDA). The name of XDA Developers is derived from it.

It is also the first touchscreen handset from Nokia that runs the Series 40 operating system. Previously released touchscreen devices from Nokia have either not had a physical keyboard, or they have had a slide-out, full-QWERTY keyboard. It was introduced on 13 August 2010 as one of the most advanced Series 40 devices in terms of features and specifications.

The Nokia Asha 303 is a QWERTY messenger smartphone powered by Nokia's Series 40 operating system. The Sony Xperia U ST25i, codenamed Kumquat during its development, is an Android smartphone from Sony. The Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G is an Android touchscreen slider smartphone designed and manufactured by Samsung for T-Mobile USA. It resembles the Samsung Epic 4G in appearance and shares the Epic 4G's screen and camera specifications, but the CPU and other internal hardware is more similar to the Samsung Galaxy S III.
