New Trier High School is a public four-year high school, with its main campus for sophomores through seniors located in Winnetka, Illinois, United States, and a campus in Northfield, Illinois, with first-year classes and district administration. Founded in 1901, the school serves the Chicago suburbs of Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, Glencoe, and Northfield as well as portions of Northbrook, Glenview, and unincorporated Cook County. New Trier's seal depicts the Porta Nigra, a symbol of Trier, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The athletic teams are known as the Trevians, an archaic demonym for the people of Trier.

The high school, operated by Wayzata Public Schools, had about 3711 students in grades 9 to 12 as of 10/1/23, making it Minnesota's largest secondary school by enrollment. It is also Minnesota's largest secondary school by size, with an interior of 658,000 square feet (61,100 m2). The district boundaries include all or part of eight municipalities: Corcoran, Maple Grove, Medicine Lake, Medina, Minnetonka, Orono, Plymouth, and Wayzata. The school finished an expansion project in 2017 with the new capacity of 3,900. It is part of the Lake Conference. Scott Gengler is the principal.

Pipestone Area High School is the only public high school in Pipestone, Minnesota, United States. The high school is part of the Pipestone Area School District, Independent School District #2689. As of August 2017, there were 324 students enrolled in grades 9–12. A new 197,000-square-foot (18,300 m2) facility, which houses grades 5–12 and the school district administration, was opened in January 2003 at the cost of $22.3 million. The campus is located on Minnesota State Highway 30 on the west end of Pipestone.

Mahtomedi Senior High School is a four-year public high school located in Mahtomedi, Minnesota, United States. The school houses grades 9–12 with a total population of approximately 1,146 students. About 22% of this population are from surrounding districts due to open enrollment. The school colors are blue and gold, and the athletic teams are known as the Zephyrs. The district was created in 1870, and the original high school was built in 1930. In 1970 a new high school building was constructed several miles south east of the original building and this remains the current high school campus. Based on standardized test scores the State of Minnesota has awarded the school a five-star rating, the highest level that can be achieved. In 2006, Newsweek ranked the school #675 in its "List of the 1200 Top High Schools in America." The school has also made adequate yearly progress in compliance with No Child Left Behind standards. As of 2015 the school had a demographic of 91% Caucasian, 2% Black, 2% Asian, 2% Two or more races, 2% Hispanic or Latino, and 1% Native American. Finally, out of the total population, 9% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Mahtomedi competes in the Metro East Conference, having joined that conference at its inception in 2001 soon after being a founding member of the Metro Alliance in 1997. Prior to 1997, Mahtomedi was a member of the Tri-Metro Conference.

Every grade level ranges from 70-100 students. In the Fall of 2014 the school changed policies and changed over from a 6 period day to a 7 period day. The students have 5 minutes between each class to maneuver to the next one.

It provides an average curriculum for its students, containing a good variety of electives and all of the state required courses. Chisago Lakes High School offers a fine arts program as well as 24 athletic activities and 20 co-curricular activities.

Technical High School is a public high school in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, United States. It is one of St. Cloud Area School District's two major public high schools; the other is Apollo. The school's first building was built in 1917 at 233 12th Avenue South. Another building was added in the 1970s to accommodate the student population. A new facility was completed in 2019.
North Community High School, or simply Minneapolis North, is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. The school has existed for over 120 years in several buildings all located on the city's northside. Minneapolis North once had a predominantly Jewish student body but by 1982, the school and the neighborhood it is located in had become mostly African American. Desegregation efforts, such as magnet school programs, have attempted to attract students from throughout Minneapolis and nearby suburbs. KBEM-FM, established by Minneapolis Public Schools in 1970, is operated partially by North students and has been located at the school since 1985.
Mound Westonka High School is a grades 8–12 public high school in Mound, Minnesota, United States. Mound Westonka competes in the Wright County Conference. Mound Westonka, located west of Lake Minnetonka, serves the westernmost portion of the lake and is located west of Minnetonka and south of Orono. Mound Westonka houses over 900 students in grades 8-12. It began as Mound Consolidated High School, which opened in the fall of 1917 in downtown Mound as part of District 85. In 1958, District 85 became Westonka District 277. In the fall of 1971, Mound High School was relocated several miles to a new building at its present location in Minnetrista and “Westonka” was added to its name. Mound High School adopted the “Mohawk” mascot in the 1930s, in part because Mound was named for the ancient Native American burial mounds located within its borders. In the fall of 1997, the school mascot was changed to the White Hawks.
Waseca Junior and Senior High School (WJSH) is located in Waseca, Minnesota, United States. The school mascot is the bluejay and the school colors are blue and gold. It houses approximately 1,000 students in grades 7 through 12. They offer a rigorous curriculum which meets Minnesota standards. They also offer Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) including College in the Schools and Advanced Placement courses. Jeanne Swanson is the current principal.
