The Nova Scotia Regional Junior Hockey League is a Junior "C" ice hockey league in Nova Scotia, Canada, sanctioned by Hockey Canada. The winner of the playoffs competes in the Maritime-Hockey North Junior C Championships.

Ice hockey is a contact team sport played on ice, usually in a rink, in which two teams of skaters use their sticks to shoot a vulcanized rubber puck into their opponent's net to score points. The sport is known to be fast-paced and physical, with teams usually consisting of six players each: one goaltender, and five players who skate up and down the ice trying to take the puck and score a goal against the opposing team.

Nova Scotia Province of Canada

Hockey Canada

Hockey Canada, which merged with the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association in 1994, is the national governing body of ice hockey and ice sledge hockey in Canada and is a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation. Hockey Canada controls a majority of ice hockey in Canada. There are some notable exceptions, such as the Canadian Hockey League and U Sports who are partnered with Hockey Canada, but are not members, as well as any of Canada's professional hockey clubs. Hockey Canada is based in Calgary, Alberta with a secondary office in Ottawa, Ontario and regional centres in Toronto, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec.

Prior to the 2016-17 season the league was known as the Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League

March 2017 the league announced that the East Hants Jr C Penguins would be joining the league for the 2017/18 season. [1] The website dropped the Bedford Wolveriness and the Metro Jaguars under their list of teams starting the 17-18 season.

The Maritime-Hockey North Junior C Championship are the Junior "C" ice hockey championships for the Maritime Junior "C" leagues and Hockey North's Team Nunavut of the Canadian Territory of Nunavut.

Maritime Junior A Hockey League

The Maritime Junior A Hockey League (MHL) is a Junior A ice hockey league under Hockey Canada, a part of the Canadian Junior Hockey League. It consists of five teams from New Brunswick and one team from Prince Edward Island, which make up the Roger Meek Division, and six teams from Nova Scotia which make up the Eastlink Division. The winner of the MHL playoffs competes for the Fred Page Cup against the winners of the Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League and the Central Junior A Hockey League. The winner of the Fred Page Cup then moves on to compete for the Canadian National Junior A Championships, the Royal Bank Cup.

Amherst Ramblers

The Amherst Ramblers are a Junior A Hockey League team based in Amherst, Nova Scotia. The team is a member of the Maritime Hockey League and are in the EastLink South Division. All home games are played out of the 2,500 seat Amherst Stadium. The season usually runs from mid-September to mid March every year.

The Spryfield Attack are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team from Spryfield, Nova Scotia. They compete in the Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League as members of Hockey Nova Scotia and Hockey Canada and are the winners of the 2014 Maritime-Hockey North Junior C Championship. Spryfield Attack for the second time were 2015-16 Nova Scotia Junior C Champions and 'silver medalists' in the 2015-16 Maritime North Junior Hockey Champions in New Brunswick.

The Windsor Royals are a Canadian Junior C ice hockey team based in Windsor, Nova Scotia. For their first three seasons the club was known as the Avon River Rats and they played in the Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League. The team was advised they were in copyright violation with the River Rats. Prior to the 2018-19 season they obtained the name of the Windsor Royals and re-branded the organization. They are coached by Mike LaPierre. They have historically been a playoff contender, but rarely progressing deep.
