Nowkan (Persian : نوكن‎; also known as Tolombeh-ye Nūkan)^[1] is a village in Golestan Rural District, in the Central District of Sirjan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 59, in 18 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Golestan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Sirjan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,481, in 1,425 families. The rural district has 146 villages.

The Central District of Sirjan County is a district (bakhsh) in Sirjan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 226,073, in 54,895 families. The District has four cities: Sirjan, Zeydabad, Najaf Shahr & Balvard.
