Lacena Golding-Clarke is a retired female hurdling athlete from Jamaica. She represented Jamaica at the Summer Olympics in 1996, 2000 and 2004, and took part in the World Championships in Athletics on five separate occasions.
Yohan Blake, is a Jamaican sprinter of the 100-metre and 200-metre sprint races. He won gold at the 100 m at the 2011 World Championships as the youngest 100 m world champion ever, and a silver medal in the 2012 Olympic Games in London in the 100 m and 200 m races for the Jamaican team.

The Boys' 100 metres at the 2011 World Youth Championships in Athletics was held at the Stadium Nord Lille Métropole on 6 and 7 July. The event was won by Odail Todd of Jamaica, who was only drafted into the event after World Youth leader Jazeel Murphy was forced to withdraw due to injury. Odean Skeen, the 2010 Youth Olympic 100 m champion, also had to withdraw prior to the event.

She now lives and trains in Auburn, Alabama under coach Henry Rolle who also coaches Kerron Stewart and Marc Burns.
The 12th Pan American Junior Athletics Championships were held in Bridgetown, Barbados at the National Stadium on 18–20 July 2003. Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt had the outstanding performance equalling the 200m World Junior record, while the team of the USA dominated the championships gaining 48 medals.

Senoj-Jay Givans is a track runner formerly from the University of Texas born in Jamaica. He ran a 9.96 100-meter time at the 2016 NCAA championships breaking the 10-second barrier. This was the 9th fastest time in collegiate history. He competed in the Olympic Trials for the Jamaica in 2016. He earned a bronze medal at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Athletics – Men's 4 × 100 metres relay.
Briana Nichole Williams is an American-born Jamaican female sprinter who is the world age-15 record holder, and the Jamaican junior (under-20) record holder in both the women's 100 metres and 200 metres. She earned gold medals in the 100 metres, the 200 metres, and the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2018 CARIFTA Games in the under-17 category, setting championship records in the 100 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay, earning her the games' Austin Sealy award. Later that year she became the youngest girl ever to win both the 100 metres and the 200 metres at the 2018 IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere. For her athletics achievements in 2018 she was nominated for the IAAF Female Rising Star and the Laureus Breakthrough of the Year awards.
