Yoshihiro Togashi is a Japanese manga artist. He began drawing manga at an early age, before being recognized for his talent by the publishing company Shueisha while attending college. Togashi has authored several different manga series in different genres over the past three decades. He is best known for writing and illustrating the YuYu Hakusho (1990–1994) and Hunter × Hunter (1998–present) series, which are some of the best-selling manga in history. Togashi is married to Naoko Takeuchi, the author of Sailor Moon.
Takeshi Obata is a Japanese manga artist that usually works as the illustrator in collaboration with a writer. He first gained international attention for Hikaru no Go (1999–2003) with Yumi Hotta, but is better known for Death Note (2003–2006) and Bakuman (2008–2012) with Tsugumi Ohba. Obata has mentored several well-known manga artists, including Nobuhiro Watsuki of Rurouni Kenshin fame, Black Cat creator Kentaro Yabuki, and Eyeshield 21 artist Yusuke Murata.
Eyeshield 21 is a Japanese manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The series tells the story of Sena Kobayakawa, an introverted boy who joins an American football club as a secretary, but after being coerced by quarterback Yoichi Hiruma, becomes the team's running back, wearing jersey number 21 and an eyeshield to conceal his identity. Inagaki chose American football as a central subject of Eyeshield 21 after realizing that it fit perfectly with his idea for the series.
Ultra Jump is a Japanese monthly seinen manga magazine published by Shueisha under the Jump line of magazines. Originally, the magazine was a special issue of Weekly Young Jump which was first issued in 1995. On October 19, 1999, the special issue became the new monthly publication Ultra Jump. The manga titles serialized in the magazine are published in tankōbon volumes under the Young Jump Comics Ultra label.

Yusuke Murata is a Japanese manga artist and animator, best known for illustrating the American football manga Eyeshield 21 in collaboration with writer Riichiro Inagaki, serialized between July 2002 and June 2009 in Weekly Shōnen Jump; and One's One-Punch Man, serialized in the Weekly Young Jump online version. Both works are adapted into anime television series.
Akira Toriyama's Hetappi Manga Kenkyūjo is a Japanese manga series by Akira Toriyama and Akira Sakuma. It is a collection of lessons on how to create manga published in Shueisha's magazine Fresh Jump between October 1982 to March 1984, and collected into a single tankōbon released in May 1985. A remake by Yusuke Murata, titled Hetappi Manga Kenkyūjo R, was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from April 2008 to May 2010, with its chapters collected in a single volume released in June 2011.
One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero manga series created by One. It tells the story of Saitama, an independent superhero who, because he can defeat any opponent with a single punch due to having trained himself to his peak condition, grows bored from a lack of challenge, setting out to find powerful opponents, while making allies of other heroes as well. One wrote the original webcomic manga version in early 2009.

The first season was directed by Shingo Natsume at Madhouse and written by Tomohiro Suzuki. The series also features character design by Chikashi Kubota, who also served as chief animation director, and music composed by Makoto Miyazaki. The season aired from October 5 to December 21, 2015 and was simulcast outside Japan by Daisuki and Hulu. An English dub aired in the United States on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block from July 17 to October 9, 2016.
The second season of the One-Punch Man anime television series is based on the webcomic of the same name written by One and its subsequent manga remake illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The season is animated by J.C. Staff, with Chikara Sakurai replacing Shingo Natsume as series director and Yoshikazu Iwanami replacing Shoji Hata as sound director. Tomohiro Suzuki, Chikashi Kubota and Makoto Miyazaki reprised their roles as series composer, character designer and music composer, respectively. The second season aired between April 10 and July 3, 2019, with a recap special covering the first season having aired a week before broadcast on April 3, 2019. The second season was simulcast on Hulu in the United States, on Tubi in Canada, on AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand, and on Crunchyroll in Europe. The season aired on Adult Swim's Toonami block from October 12, 2019, to January 12, 2020.

Saitama is a fictional character who is the titular protagonist of the Japanese manga and Anime series One-Punch Man created by One. For three years straight, Saitama had trained enough to become the strongest being and can defeat any enemy with a single punch. However, because of his unmatched power, he has been left with no real challenge from his supervillain or criminal adversaries, leaving him unfulfilled and bored. He becomes the reluctant mentor of Genos, a cyborg seeking revenge against another cyborg who killed his family and destroyed his hometown, after Saitama defeats a monster that defeated Genos. With Genos, Saitama learns about the Hero Association, a professional organization that combats monsters and protects the Earth.
