One Galle Face is a mixed-use complex of buildings near the Galle Face Green in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is also Sri Lanka's first internationally and developed and managed mixed use project and was officially opened on 8 November 2019. [4] The facility consists of four skyscrapers, one which will be open for businesses to set up offices, two for the residential component, and the fourth as part of a hotel. A shopping mall is also part of the project. [5] The premises in its entirety is owned by Shangri-La. [6]
The twin towers of the residential component are tied as the 4th-tallest structures in the country, at 194 m (636 ft). [7] The towers are 51 storeys each, with two-, three-, or four bedroom apartments of 161.0 m2 (1,733 sq ft), 255.0 m2 (2,745 sq ft), and 329.0 m2 (3,541 sq ft), respectively. They will also contain 16 penthouses. [8]
Shangri-La Colombo opened on 16 November 2017, as the first of the four project components to do so. [9] The hotel has 500 rooms and 41 serviced apartments. [9]
The mall consists of 46,000 square metres (490,000 sq ft) of lettable commercial space distributed among seven floors, scheduled for a June 2019 opening. [10] It is planned to contain a multiplex (operated by PVR Cinemas), a 1,600 square metres (17,000 sq ft) food court (operated by Food Studio), a supermarket, and a planned capacity of 300 units of retail, entertainment and dining outlets. [10] [11] [12] Softlogic became one of the first confirmed tenants of the mall in July 2017, with Odel slated to open a multi-level department store with a floor space of 5,058.9 square metres (54,454 sq ft). [10] [13] [12] Keells Super will also operate a gourmet supermarket within the Mall. [12] The mall was opened to the public on 8 November 2019 by President Maithripala Sirisena which also marked his last inauguration ceremony as the President of the country. [14]
The Galle Face Hotel, founded in 1864, is one of the oldest hotels east of Suez. It is located on Galle Road, Colombo. The Ceylon Hotels Corporation is now part of the Galle Face Hotel Group. The hotel is a member of Select Hotels and Resorts International. The current chairman of the hotel is Sanjeev Gardiner, since the demise of his father Cyril Gardiner in 1997. It is listed as one of the "1000 Places to See Before You Die" in the book of the same name. It received the "Best Heritage Hotel" title three years running at the Presidential Awards for Travel and Tourism, held in June 2010, June 2011 and September 2012. In addition it won the first-ever PATA award for Best International Heritage Hotel, in 2012. In September 2012, it became the first hotel in Sri Lanka to be featured on a postage stamp, along with three other iconic buildings in Colombo.

The Old Army Headquarters refers to the former military headquarters complex of the Sri Lanka Army. Situated next to Galle Face Green and Baladaksha Mawatha, the complex bordered the Beira Lake and had its main entrance at the Slave Island end of Baladaksha Mawatha, Colombo 3. The complex also included the Ministry of Defence buildings, located close to the Galle Face terminus of Baladaksha Mawatha. Apart from operational and administrative offices, it contained the centers of several regiments and corps of the Sri Lanka Army, as well as the Colombo Military Hospital and the army sports grounds.

Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is the first integrated resort in Sri Lanka and the largest private investment in the country. Sri Lankan-British architect, Cecil Balmond designed the resort while Hyundai Engineering & Construction is the main contractor. The construction of the resort began in 2014. All the buildings in the resort topped off in May 2019. Even though the resort was originally planned to be completed by 2018, the project got delayed several times due to various reasons. John Keells started handing over keys to the suites apartments in August 2021. With handing over of residential and commercial units, revenue recognition started at Cinnamon Life. The remainder of the project is scheduled to be launched in a phased manner, in the second half of 2024. In April 2024, John Keells Holdings announced an agreement with Melco Resorts & Entertainment to operate the gaming facility of Cinnamon Life Resort. The resort will be rebranded as City of Dreams Sri Lanka as part of the agreement.

The hotel is located right opposite Galle Face Green facing the Indian Ocean. The hotel is one of the oldest five-star hotels in the city of Colombo. The company was listed as a public company in the following year. Ceylon Hotel Holdings, a subsidiary of Galle Face Hotels Group is the holding company of Ceylon Hotels Corporation. Ceylon Hotels' subsidiary, Kandy Hotels Company owns and operates the Queen's Hotel and the Hotel Suisse heritage hotels.
Jetwing Symphony PLC is a hotel chain in Sri Lanka. The company was incorporated in 2007. Following an oversubscribed Initial Public Offering in December 2017, the company started publicly trading on the Colombo Stock Exchange in January 2018. Jetwing Symphony is the holding company of the Jetwing Group's new hotels. As of 2022, Jetwing Symphony manages seven properties across the country.
Renuka Holdings PLC, also called Renuka Group, is a conglomerate company in Sri Lanka. Ceylonese businessman Alfred Thambiyah laid the foundations of the Renuka Group by acquiring the Crago Boat Dispatch Company in 1936 and establishing Renuka Hotel, named after his youngest daughter Indu Renuka in 1969. Indu Renuka Rajiyah founded Renuka Enterprises in 1975, and Renuka Holdings in 1979 marked the formal beginning of the group. Renuka Holdings went public in 2008 and following the listing on the Colombo Stock Exchange, the company pursued a growth strategy. Renuka Holdings is one of the LMD 100 companies in Sri Lanka and also one of the 20 largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Ambeon Holdings PLC is a conglomerate holding company based in Sri Lanka. John Walker who established Walker Sons and Company is the founder of the company. In 1874, Walker founded Walker and Greig to supply agricultural machinery to plantations in the hill country. The company was incorporated in 1910 and in 1959, it was brought under Brown and Company. In 1970, the company was listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange.
ITC Ratnadipa is a luxury hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The hotel is part of the Indian hotel chain ITC Hotels, while WelcomHotels Lanka Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of ITC Limited, is the proprietor. The hotel is located adjacent to the Galle Face Green and next to Shangri-La Colombo and Taj Samudra hotels. It is ITC Hotels' first foreign investment. The hotel is 140 metres (460 ft) tall and accompanied by a 224 metres (735 ft) tall Sapphire Residences building. The two buildings are connected by Ahasa One, a 55 metres (180 ft) sky bridge. The sky bridge is built 100 metres (330 ft) above ground, connecting 19-21 levels of the two buildings. The groundbreaking of the hotel took place on 19 November 2014. The project was intended to open in 2017 but was delayed several times. WelcomHotels Lanka received its third extension in seven years to commence operations. The project received strategic investment status from the government of Sri Lanka and received tax breaks. The hotel was inaugurated by Sri Lankan president Ranil Wickremesinghe on 25 April 2024.
