The Civic Democratic Party is a conservative and Eurosceptic political party in the Czech Republic. The party generally sits centre-right to right-wing on the political spectrum, and holds 34 seats in the Chamber of Deputies, and is the second strongest party by number of seats following the 2021 election. It is the only political party in the Czech Republic that has maintained an uninterrupted representation in the Chamber of Deputies.

The 2009 European Parliament election in Czech Republic was the election of the delegation from Czech Republic to the European Parliament in 2009. The Civic Democratic Party has won the election with a surprisingly strong lead against the Czech Social Democratic Party. Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia came third and the Christian and Democratic Union – Czechoslovak People's Party became the last party to enter the Parliament.

Parliamentary elections were held in the Czech Republic on 28–29 May 2010 to elect the 200 members of the Chamber of Deputies. The elections had been expected to take place sometime before the end of 2009, but was postponed due to legal challenges. Before the election, the country had been governed by a caretaker administration headed by Jan Fischer. The Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) was the front-runner of the election and its leader Jiří Paroubek was the favourite to become the new Prime Minister.

The 2012 Regional Council Elections were held on the 12th and 13th of October in all administrative regions of the Czech Republic, with the exception of Prague. The election was won by the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD), which received the most votes in 9 of the 13 regions despite experiencing a significant drop in voter share overall.

Parliamentary elections were held in the Czech Republic on 20 and 21 October 2017. All 200 members of the Chamber of Deputies were elected and Andrej Babiš of ANO 2011, also the leader of the resultant government, became the Prime Minister. The coalition government following the 2013 parliamentary elections consisted of the two largest parties: the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) of Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, and ANO 2011 (ANO), led by former Finance Minister and businessman Andrej Babiš, alongside the Christian and Democratic Union – Czechoslovak People's Party (KDU–ČSL). The largest opposition party was the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM), followed by centre-right parties TOP 09 and the Civic Democratic Party (ODS).

Parliamentary elections were held in the Czech Republic on 8 and 9 October 2021. All 200 members of the Chamber of Deputies were elected, with the leader of the resulting government to become the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. Following the 2017 parliamentary elections, the country had been ruled by a minority government consisting of ANO 2011 (ANO), led by prime minister Andrej Babiš, and the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD), led by interior minister Jan Hamáček, with confidence and supply support from the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM) until April 2021. The largest opposition party was the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), followed by the Czech Pirate Party. Other parties in the Chamber of Deputies included SPD, TOP 09, STAN, and KDU-ČSL.

The 2014 Prague municipal election was held as part of 2014 Czech municipal elections. It was held on 10 and 11 October 2014. ANO 2011 won the election and Adriana Krnáčová became the first female mayor of Prague.

Martin Baxa is a Czech politician who has served as the Czech Minister of Culture in Petr Fiala's Cabinet since December 2021. He has been a member of the Chamber of Deputies (MP) for the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) since October 2017. He previously served as Mayor of Plzeň from 2010 to 2014, and again from 2018 to 2022.

Brno municipal election in 2018 was held as part of 2018 Czech municipal elections. ANO 2011 led by incumbent Mayor Petr Vokřál received highest number of votes being followed by Civic Democratic Party (ODS). ODS formed coalition with KDU-ČSL, ČSSD and Pirates after the election. Markéta Vaňková of ODS became the new Mayor.

Municipal election in Ostrava was held as part of Czech municipal elections in 2018.

Přísaha is an extra-parliamentary political party in the Czech Republic, founded in 2021 by Robert Šlachta.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022 Prague municipal election</span>

The 2022 Prague municipal election was held in September 2022 as part of the nationwide municipal elections to elect members of the Prague City Assembly. It was a victory for Spolu which received the highest number of votes and seats ahead of ANO 2011 in second place. The Czech Pirate Party led by incumbent Mayor Zdeněk Hřib finished third. New coalition was formed 5 months after election and it consists of Spolu, Pirates and STAN. Bohuslav Svoboda became the new mayor.

The 2022 Ostrava municipal election was held on 23 and 24 September 2022 as part of the nationwide municipal elections. ANO 2011 has won the third election in row.

The 2022 Plzeň municipal election was held on 23 and 24 September 2022 as part of the nationwide municipal elections. The result was a narrow victory for Spolu which received highest number of votes but was tied with ANO 2011 by number of seats. After the election ANO 2011 formed coalition with Czech Pirate Party and Mayors and Independents with Roman Zarzycký as the new Mayor. New coalition was to be supported by 2 SPD members of the assembly but after disagreement of Piráti and STAN leadership they were replaced by PRO Plzeň.
