The Most Eminent Order of Islam Brunei^[1] (Malay : Darjah Seri Ugama Islam Negara Brunei Yang Amat Bersinar), also translated as The Most Illustrious Islamic Religious Order of the State of Brunei,^[2] is an order of Brunei. It was established on 1 August 1968 by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah for service in the propagation, preservation and strengthening of the Islamic religion.^[2]

The Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien College (SOASC), natively known as Maktab Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien (MSOAS), is a government boys' secondary school in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. It is the first English secondary school in the country. The school is also one of the only three boys' secondary schools nationwide, with the other two being Muda Hashim Secondary School and Ma'had Islam Brunei. The school provides five years of secondary education leading up to GCE 'O' Level and IGCSE qualification.

The Most Blessed Order of Setia Negara Brunei, also translated as The Most Blessed Order of Loyalty to the State of Brunei, is an order of Brunei Darussalam. It was established on 29 November 1959 by Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III.

The Most Gallant Order of Pahlawan Negara Brunei, also translated as The Most Gallant Order of the Hero of the State of Brunei, is an order of Brunei. It was established on 28 November 1959 by Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III.

The Most Honourable Order of Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei, also translated as The Most Honourable Order of the Crown of Brunei, is an order of Brunei Darussalam. It was established on 1 March 1954 by Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III.

The Most Exalted Order of Paduka Keberanian Laila Terbilang, also translated as The Most Exalted Order of Famous Valour, is an order of Brunei. It was established on 1 August 1968 by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.

The Most Esteemed Family Order of Laila Utama is an order of Brunei. It was established on 1 March 1954 by Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III. The order carries the post-nominal letters "DK" or "DK I" as well as the title "Dato Laila Utama".

Pengiran Anak Abdul Aziz is a nobleman and formerly a police officer from Brunei who previously served as the Controller of the Royal Customs and Excise of Brunei, member of the Royal Succession Council, member of the Royal Council, and the Chief of Jabatan Adat Istiadat Negara. He was one of the concept contributors for the change in the name of the Police Force to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) as a Royal Dignitary, a State Dignitary, and a Member of Councils. Notably, he also made changes to the flag, the pattern, and the uniform color of the department's officers and staffs during his tenure as the Controller of the Royal Customs and Excise.

Mohammad Abbas Al-Sufri bin Haji Ibrahim was an aristocrat, civil servant and courtier from Brunei who previously served as the acting personal secretary to Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III. He had a career in the government service of Brunei, in which he held a number of important positions such as being a member of the Privy Council of Brunei.

Pengiran Muhammad Ali bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad Daud, simply known as Pengiran Ali, was a Bruneian nobleman, teacher and politician whom formerly held the position of Deputy Menteri Besar from 1962 to 1965, Legislative, Executive, and Privy Councils. He emphasised the significant impact he played in Brunei's history, notably from the 1950s to 1960s, and was also the first of the "three M's" that the British government dreaded.

Pengiran Abdul Momin bin Pengiran Othman was a nobleman, diplomat and politician in the Government of Brunei whole formerly took office as the Ambassador of Brunei to Indonesia from 1993 to 2001. Additionally, he was a member of the Privy Council, Legislative Council, Islamic Legislative Council and Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation from 1992 to 2004.

Mohamed Taib bin Besar was a Bruneian magistrate and civil servant who formerly took office as the State Secretary from 1967 to 1969, and Acting Land Commissioner from 1961 to 1962. Additionally, he was a member of the Council of Ministers and Legislative Council.

Pengiran Mohammad bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman, pen name Zairis M.S., is a Bruneian politician and writer in the Government of Brunei whole formerly took office as the second Minister of Religious Affairs from 2010 to 2015, and Deputy Minister of Education from 2005 to 2010.

Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali is a Bruneian police officer who serves as the incumbent police commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) since 2021.

Pengiran Anak Idris is a Bruneian nobleman and member of the royal family who became the prince consort to Princess Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam in 1972, the daughter of Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III. He is the current Chief of Jabatan Adat Istiadat Negara, a member of the Privy Council of Brunei, and assistant chairman of Adat Istiadat Council, and Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah's board of governors.

The Jabatan Adat Istiadat Negara is a government department under the Prime Minister's Office that functions to guarantee the constant maintenance of Royal Customs. It has been translated literally as the Office of State Customs, the Department of the State Customs or the State Department of Customs and Traditions, even though it does not have an English name. In order to guarantee that the practice and implementation, particularly the Istiadat Diraja, are always in accordance with the philosophy of Melayu Islam Beraja, preaching and teaching the public through lectures, briefings, and workshops on Adat Istiadat (Customs) are regularly held.

Pengiran Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan is a Bruneian politician and former syariah judge who served as the incumbent Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs (MoRA) since 2022. He is also a member of the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) council, Manpower Planning & Employment Council (MPEC), deputy chairman of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College and chairman of Badan Tanmiah Brunei.
