District 6 of the Oregon State Senate includes most of Linn County as well as eastern Lane County and a sliver of southern Marion County. It is composed of Oregon House districts 11 and 12. It is currently represented by Republican Cedric Ross Hayden of Fall Creek.
District boundaries have changed over time. Therefore, senators before 2023 may not represent the same constituency as today. From 1993 until 2003, the district covered western Multnomah County; from 2003 until 2013, it covered northern Lane County from Springfield east to Walterville and south to Creswell and Dexter and rural central Linn County surrounding Brownsville and Sweet Home; and from 2013 until 2023, it stayed mostly the same, losing Dexter and Sweet Home but gaining Coburg and Harrisburg.
The current district differs greatly from previous iterations by the inclusion of all of eastern Lane County and all of eastern Linn County up to Lebanon as well as the inclusion of Cottage Grove and Junction City and the loss of most of Springfield, rendering the district substantially more rural in character and conservative in voting patterns.

Oregon's 5th congressional district stretches from the Southeast suburbs of Portland through the eastern half of the Willamette Valley and then reaches across the Cascades to take in Sisters and Bend. It includes a sliver of Multnomah County, the majority of Clackamas County, the rural eastern portion of Marion County, all of Linn County, a very small section of southwest Jefferson County, and the populated northwest portion of Deschutes County. It was significantly redrawn when Oregon gained a 6th congressional district after the 2020 census.
The 2016 United States House of Representatives elections in Oregon were held on November 8, 2016, to elect the five U.S. representatives from the State of Oregon, one from each of the state's 5 congressional districts. The elections coincided with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, as well a senatorial election and the special gubernatorial election, and elections to local offices. The primaries were held on May 17.
District 1 of the Oregon State Senate comprises all of Curry County as well as southern Coos County and central Douglas County. It is composed of Oregon House districts 1 and 2. It is currently represented by Republican David Brock Smith of Port Orford, who was appointed to the seat on January 11, 2023 after the resignation of Dallas Heard.
District 2 of the Oregon State Senate comprises all of Josephine County as well as southern Douglas County and northwestern Jackson County. It is composed of Oregon House districts 3 and 4. It is currently represented by Republican Art Robinson of Cave Junction.
District 4 of the Oregon State Senate comprises central Lane County centered around Eugene and Springfield. It is composed of Oregon House districts 7 and 8. It is currently represented by Democrat Floyd Prozanski of Eugene.
District 5 of the Oregon State Senate comprises all of Lincoln County on the central Oregon Coast, as well as parts of Benton, Coos, Douglas, and Lane counties. It is composed of Oregon House districts 9 and 10. It is currently represented by Republican Dick Anderson of Lincoln City.
District 7 of the Oregon State Senate comprises parts of northern Lane County in the Eugene metropolitan area. It is composed of Oregon House districts 13 and 14. It is currently represented by Democrat James Manning Jr. of Eugene.
District 8 of the Oregon State Senate comprises northwestern Linn County, northeastern Benton County, and southern Marion County centered around Albany and Corvallis. It is composed of Oregon House districts 15 and 16. It is currently represented by Democrat Sara Gelser Blouin of Corvallis.
District 9 of the Oregon State Senate comprises the rural areas in eastern Marion and Linn counties as well as southern Clackamas County. It is composed of Oregon House districts 17 and 18. It is currently represented by Republican Fred Girod of Stayton.
District 12 of the Oregon State Senate comprises parts of Yamhill and Polk counties centered around Dallas, McMinnville, and Newberg. It is composed of Oregon House districts 23 and 24. It is currently represented by Republican Brian Boquist of Dallas.
District 15 of the Oregon State Senate comprises central Washington County, including most of Hillsboro as well as Forest Grove and Cornelius. It is composed of Oregon House districts 29 and 30. It is currently represented by Democrat Janeen Sollman of Hillsboro.
District 17 of the Oregon State Senate comprises parts of Multnomah and Washington counties encompassing much of northwest Portland and suburbs of Beaverton. It is composed of Oregon House districts 33 and 34. It is currently represented by Democrat Elizabeth Steiner of Portland.
District 19 of the Oregon State Senate comprises northwestern Clackamas, southwestern Multnomah, and southeastern Washington counties and includes Lake Oswego, Tualatin, and West Linn as well as Portland's South Waterfront. It is composed of Oregon House districts 37 and 38. It is currently represented by Democrat Rob Wagner of Lake Oswego.
District 22 of the Oregon State Senate comprises parts of north and northeast Portland. The district is composed of Oregon House districts 43 and 44. It is currently represented by Democrat Lew Frederick of Portland.
District 26 of the Oregon State Senate comprises all of Hood River County, as well as parts of Clackamas, Multnomah, and Wasco counties. The district is composed of Oregon House districts 51 and 52. It is currently represented by Republican Daniel Bonham of Hood River.
District 27 of the Oregon State Senate comprises parts of Deschutes County centered around greater Bend. The district is composed of Oregon House districts 53 and 54. It is currently represented by Republican Tim Knopp of Bend.
District 28 of the Oregon State Senate comprises all of Klamath County as well as parts of Deschutes and Jackson counties. The district is composed of Oregon House districts 55 and 56. It is currently represented by Republican Dennis Linthicum of Bonanza.
District 29 of the Oregon State Senate comprises all of Gilliam, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, and Wheeler counties, as well as parts of Clackamas, Jefferson, Marion, and Wasco counties. The district is composed of Oregon House districts 57 and 58. It is currently represented by Republican Bill Hansell of Athena.
District 30 of the Oregon State Senate comprises all of Baker, Crook, Grant, Harney, Lake, and Malheur counties, as well as parts of Deschutes and Jefferson counties. The district is composed of Oregon House districts 59 and 60 and is the largest state Senate district in Oregon. It is currently represented by Republican Lynn Findley of Vale.
District 12 of the Oregon House of Representatives is one of 60 House legislative districts in the state of Oregon. As of 2021, the boundary for the district includes mot of eastern Lane County as well as a small sliver of southern Linn County. The current representative for the district is Republican Charlie Conrad of Dexter.
