Our Twenty For is the second single album by South Korean boy group Winner. It's their second comeback in 2017, after releasing their first single album Fate Number For in April, and the second in a series of music releases related to the number four. The single symbolizes Winner's youth, passion, and special friendship. It also symbolizes the average age of Winner members at 24 and their youth. [1]

Background

On July 14, Winner's agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed that the group will return with new music, either in late July or early August, with music videos being filmed overseas in Hawaii, United States. [2] [3] On July 24, the agency confirmed the date of their comeback to be August 4 and the title of the single album "Our Twenty For". [1] In the following days, they announced the two singles "Love Me Love Me" and "Island", which was written and produced by the group members with the help of YG producers Future Bounce and Bekuh BOOM. [4] [5]

Composition

"Love Me Love Me" is a disco song with a catchy hook, while "Island" is a tropical house track, which talks about romantic feelings with the unique theme of "island" and interesting lyrics. [6] [7]

Winner, is a South Korean boy band consisting of four members: Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino and Seungyoon. The band was formed in 2013 by YG Entertainment through Mnet's survival program WIN: Who Is Next leading to their official debut on August 17, 2014 with studio album 2014 S/S. Originally a five-piece band, Taehyun, departed from the group in November 2016 for his mental health and well-being. Upon their debut, The Korea Herald cited their immediate success as "unprecedented" for a new group, thus dubbed as "Monster rookies". Winner is often cited as a "self-producing" band with all members actively taking on roles from producing and choreographing to designing and marketing. iKon South Korean boy band

iKon (Korean: 아이콘), stylized as iKON, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2015 by YG Entertainment, consisting of six members: Bobby, Jinhwan, Ju-ne, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk and Chanwoo. First introduced in the reality survival show WIN: Who is Next as "Team B", the group went on to appear in the 2014 reality survival show Mix & Match, which determined the final membership lineup of iKon. Nam Tae-hyun South Korean singer

Nam Tae-hyun, also known as Taehyun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, producer and actor. In March 2017, he founded a music label, South Buyers Club. Page has sold 122,202 copies in South Korea as of May 2021.
