Alex Bueno, originally born as Alejandro Wigberto Bueno López, is a singer and guitarist from the Dominican Republic, specializing in merengue and bachata music, but also having ties in salsa, bolero, merengue típico, ballad and more. He broke out onto the scene in his early life and has been on the Dominican music scene for over 40 years. Having been an artist for so long, he has amassed a large fanbase in the Dominican Republic.
Leopoldo Dante Tévez was an Argentine composer and singer. He recorded more than 20 albums during his long career during the late 20th century between Argentina and Mexico.
Luis Segura, is a popular traditional Dominican singer often referred to as 'The Father of Bachata'. He is considered one of the best interpreters of traditional bachata with hits like "Pena por ti", "Dicen", and "No me celes tanto". Segura's first recordings were in the 1960s but it wasn't until his release of "Pena por ti" in the early 1980s that Segura hit stardom. Its immense popularity led to growing acceptance, making it the first Bachata song to be featured on FM radio. This broke the tradition of the genre being confined to AM broadcasts, which was predominantly diverted to rural areas, and elevated the genre's status by reaching urban and mainstream audiences.
Gian Marco Javier Zignago Alcóver is a Peruvian musician and actor. He has won the Latin Grammy Award for the Best Singer-Songwriter Album three times. First in 2005 for his album Resucitar, in 2011 for his album Días Nuevos, and in 2012 for his album 20 Años. Gian Marco was named UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in Peru.

He is known for his skill and improvisation technique on the accordion, and started his career around the same time as Tatico Henriquez, which some consider to be the godfather of merengue tipico, in the 1970s. He currently resides in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He plays at private festivals, concert halls at home, and also those abroad. His sound would be considered more similar to Fefita la Grande or Agapito Pascual rather than El Prodigio or Grupo Aguakate.

Barbarito Díez was a Cuban singer who specialized in danzón. He began his career as the singer for Graciano Gómez and Isaac Oviedo's son group, before joining Antonio María Romeu's orchestra. As the lead vocalist for Romeu's ensemble for 20 years, he established himself as one of the main exponents of the sung danzón. He continued singing with his own charanga, as well as other groups, for another 30 years. He also toured and recorded in Venezuela and Puerto Rico before retiring in the early 1990s, when complications from diabetes prevented him from performing and eventually resulted in his death in 1995. A naturally-gifted tenor, he was known for his sense of rhythm, correct diction and romantic style.
Los Guardianes del Amor were a Mexican band formed in 1992. They were the grupero act with the most nominations for Latin Grammy Award for Best Grupero Album with five, but have never won the award. The band's five original members are Arturo Rodríguez, Óscar Saúl Cervantes, Daniel Poplawsky, Pablo Calderón and Ernesto García.
