Pacific Drums and Percussion (or PDP for short) is a musical instrument brand established by the Drum Workshop Inc., in 1999, with the purpose of providing its percussion instruments at more affordable prices. [2] [3]
Pacific Drums products are manufactured in China, Taiwan, and Mexico. The line still uses some custom techniques, but primarily uses computerized machinery to cut costs and reduce steps to create drums in large quantities. [2]

A drum kit is a collection of drums, cymbals, and sometimes other auxiliary percussion instruments set up to be played by one person. The drummer typically holds a pair of matching drumsticks or special wire or nylon brushes; and uses their feet to operate hi-hat and bass drum pedals.
