Padatik is a 2024 Indian Bengali language biographical drama film written, directed and edited by Srijit Mukherji. The film focuses on Mrinal Sen's active lifetime and his contribution in the Bengali Cinema. [1] [2] The film released theatrically on 15 August 2024, India's Independence Day. [3]

Mrinal Sen's journey from his struggling early days as an idealistic filmmaker during India's independence to his pivotal role in the Indian New Wave cinema movement in 1950s Calcutta, working alongside Satyajit Ray.

Initially, Srijit decided to make a biopic on Mrinal Sen in the form of a web series, but later decided to make a film after changing his mind. The shooting of Mrinal Sen's biopic 'Padatik' began on 15 January 2023 in Kolkata. [4]

His fifth film, Jaatishwar, won four national awards at India's 61st National Film Awards (2014). He won the National Film Award for Best Direction and Best Original Screenplay for his sixth film, Chotushkone, at India's 62nd National Film Awards. Autograph is a 2010 Indian Bengali drama film by debutant director Srijit Mukherji. The movie is a tribute to Satyajit Ray's 1966 film Nayak and yesteryear Bengali actor Uttam Kumar, who portrayed the title role in the film. This was the first collaboration between Srijit Mukherjee and Prosenjit Chatterjee. The movie is being remade in Malayalam.

Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aashenni is a Bengali web series based on the thriller novel of the same name written by Bangladeshi writer Mohammad Nazim Uddin. The series has been released on West Bengal-based Bengali language OTT platform Hoichoi. It is directed by Indian director Srijit Mukherji. This is the second complete web series directed by Srijit Mukherji and his first work in Hoichoi. Initially, shooting was planned in both countries with the participation of several actors from Bangladesh and India, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, shooting was done only in India. However, Azmeri Haque Badhon is the only Bangladeshi playing the central character "Mushkan Zuberi".

The series is directed by Srijit Mukherji, Vasan Bala and Abhishek Chaubey. It is produced by Ajit Andhare, Tipping point and Viacom18 Studios. The series features Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon in the lead roles. The series was released on 25 June 2021 on Netflix.

Oti Uttam is a 2024 Indian Bengali-language fantasy romantic comedy film written, co-produced and directed by Srijit Mukherji under Camellia Productions and Matchcut Productions. Veteran Bengali actor Uttam Kumar appears in the screen through Visual effects from his existing clippings from his various films. His character was built by the scenes of his 56 existing old movies.

Feludar Goyendagiri is an Indian streaming television series, directed by Srijit Mukherji. It is based on the stories of the Bengali sleuth Feluda, written by Satyajit Ray. Originally known as Feluda Pherot and streaming on Addatimes, the show began streaming on Hoichoi from 17 June 2022.
