Pakistan women's national shooting team

The Pakistan women's national shooting team represents Pakistan in international shooting competitions. It is administered by the National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP). Members of the team compete in both rifle and pistol events at competitions including the continental and regional games (Asian and South Asian Games). In 2016, Minhal Sohail became the first woman sports shooter from Pakistan to compete at the Summer Olympic Games when she participated on a quota place at the Rio Games. [1]

Sport in Pakistan is a significant part of Pakistani culture. Cricket is the most popular sport in Pakistan, while field hockey, polo, and squash are also popular. Abhinav Bindra Indian businessman and retired professional shooter

Abhinav Bindra is an Indian businessman and retired sport shooter. He is currently India's only individual Olympic gold medalist. His gold in the 10-meter air rifle event at the 2008 Summer Olympics was also India's first Olympic gold medal since 1980. He is the first shooter to have held concurrently the world and Olympic titles for the men's 10-meter air rifle event, having earned those honors at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2006 ISSF World Shooting Championships. Bindra has also won nine medals at the Commonwealth Games and three gold medals at the Asian Games.He is regarded by many as one of the best Asian shooter and the greatest Indian shooter of all time.

Pakistan mens national field hockey team

The Pakistan national field hockey team is administered by the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), the governing body for hockey in Pakistan. They have been a member of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) since 1948 and founding member of the Asian Hockey Federation (ASHF) which formed in 1958. Pakistan is the most successful national field hockey team in the Hockey World Cup with four championships: 1971, 1978, 1982 and 1994. Pakistan also has the best overall performance in World Cup history in both proportional and absolute terms with 53 victories in 84 matches played, seven time draws, six appearances in the finals and only 24 losses. Pakistan national team has played in all FIH World Cup editions with only one absence in 2014. The green shirts is also one of the most successful national teams in the Asian Games with eight gold medals: 1958, 1962, 1970, 1974, 1978, 1982, 1990 and 2010, the highest number of times a country has come first, and the only Asian team to have won the prestigious Champions Trophy with three championships: 1978, 1980 and 1994. Pakistan have won a total of 29 official international titles to professional and grassroots level selections, with three gold medals in the Olympic Games field hockey tournaments in Rome 1960, Mexico City 1968 and Los Angeles 1984. However, Pakistan could not qualify for Olympics since 2012.

Sadaf Siddiqui is a Pakistani track and field sprint athlete from Lahore who has competed in international sprint races for Pakistan. Siddiqui represented Pakistan at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing where she competed in 100 meter, placing seventh in her heat without advancing to the second round.

China has qualified to send athletes to the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 September to 18 September 2016. Sports China is competed in include blind football, archery, boccia, cycling, goalball, judo, paracanoeing, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball.

Minhal Sohail is a Pakistani sports shooter. In 2016, she became the first female shooter to represent her country at the Olympics when she participated in the Rio Games. She competes in the 10 metre Air Rifle category.

Pakistan at the 2019 South Asian Games Sporting event delegation

Pakistan is competed in the 2019 South Asian Games in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal from 1 to 10 December 2019. It participated in Tennis, Table Tennis, Athletics, Handball, Taekwondo, Kabbadi, Badminton, Swimming, Karate, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Boxing, Squash, Volleyball, Judo and Wushu.

The 2023 South Asian Games, officially the XIV South Asian Games, will be a major multi-sport event which will be held in Pakistan, primarily in Lahore, the capital of Punjab province. The organisers are also looking into hosting these Games in four other cities: Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala and Karachi. The Games are expected to be held in March 2023. This will mark the first time that Pakistan has hosted the South Asian Games since 2004, and the first time that Pakistan has hosted the event outside of Islamabad.

Muhammad Shafiq is a Pakistani sports administrator and former track and field sprinter. He is 3rd and current Secretary General of Asian Handball Federation (AHF) since 25 October 2013. He is also holds the position of President in Pakistan Handball Federation since 2012.

Members of the team compete in singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team events at competitions including continental and regional games and continental championships.

The Pakistan women's national table tennis team represents Pakistan in international table tennis competitions. It is administered by the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF). Members of the team compete in singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team events at competitions including continental and regional games and continental championships.

The Pakistan women's national boxing team represents Pakistan in international boxing competitions. It is administered by the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF). The team competed internationally for the first time at the South Asian Games held in Guwahati, India in 2016. It debuted at the continental level at the Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2018.

The Pakistan women's national judo team represents Pakistan in international judo competitions. It is administered by the Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF). Members of the team compete in competitions including regional games.

The Pakistan women's national swimming team represents Pakistan in international swimming competitions. It is administered by the Pakistan Swimming Federation (PSF). Members of the team compete at competitions including the continental and regional games and championships. Members have also participated at the Olympics with Rubab Raza the first ever female Pakistani swimmer to do so when she competed at the 2004 Games in Athens, Greece.

The Pakistan women's national karate team represents Pakistan in international karate competitions. It is administered by the Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF). Members of the team compete at competitions including the continental and regional games. At the Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2018, Nargis Hameedullah became the first Pakistani woman to win an individual medal at the Asian Games.

Rukhsana Parveen also spelled Rukhsana Perveen is a female boxer from Pakistan. In 2016, she along with two other team mates became the first women boxers from Pakistan to compete in an international competition when they participated at the South Asian Games in Guwahati, India. She was also included in the first ever team sent to the Asian Games.

Humaira Ashiq is a Pakistani judoka.

Shahida Abbasi is a Pakistani karateka. She is the first Pakistani woman to compete internationally in kata.

Moqaddas Ashraf is a Pakistani professional squash player. As of November 2020, she is ranked number 133 in the world.

Twinkle Sohail is a Pakistani weightlifter.
