The National Rifle Association of Pakistan is the governing body to develop and promote the sport of shooting in Pakistan.

The European Shooting Confederation (ESC) is an association of the International Shooting Sport Federation's member federations from Europe, including the Caucasus, Cyprus, Israel, and Turkey. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ISSF banned Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from its competitions. In addition, the ESC stripped Russia of its right to host the 2022 European Shooting Championships in the 25m, 50m, 300m, running target and shotgun.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">National Rifle Association of India</span>

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) was founded in 1951 with a view to promote and popularize the shooting sports in India. The first speaker of Lok Sabha, Sh. G.V. Mavlankar was the founder and the first president of NRAI followed by Sh. Govind Vallabh Pant, Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri, Sh. Y. B. Chauhan, Sh. G.S. Dhillon and Sh. Joginder Singh. Sh. Raninder Singh has served as president since December 2010.

Shooting sports in Canada are practised in various ways across the country. Canadians enjoy the sports at recreational and competitive levels, including international and at the Olympic level. Each province has its own organizations that govern the various disciplines. Many of the disciplines are connected nationally and some are part of larger international organizations.

Samarakoon Mudiyansalage Mangala Samarakoon is a former Sri Lankan sport shooter. He also served as a non-commission officer for Sri Lanka Army as well staff sergeant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps.

The European Shooting Championships are the global sport shooting European championships as regards the disciplines of the sport shooting of the rifle and the pistol. Sometimes the competition also includes trap shooting, skeet and running target shooting events, usually organized in special championships.

The Philippine National Shooting Association (PNSA) is the National Sports Association (NSA) governing shooting sports in the Philippines, covering both Olympic discipline shooting sports and non-Olympic shooting events like the bench rest or practical pistol. PNSA is the Philippine shooting sport NSA recognized by and a regular member of the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), funded by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).

Mehuli Ghosh is an Indian sport shooter. She represents India at international junior shooting championships across the world. Among 123 competitors, she was the only Indian shooting athlete to reach the finals of the 2018 junior shooting competition held in the Czech Republic. She finished in seventh place there. In 2018, at the XXI Commonwealth Games held at Gold Coast, Australia, she won a silver medal in Women's 10m Air Rifle after a shoot-off with Martina Veloso. According to the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), she has a world ranking of sixth and third in Asia.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">South African Shooting Sport Confederation</span> South African union for sport shooting

South African Shooting Sport Confederation (SASSCo) formerly known as South African Shooting Sport Federation (SASSF) is the governing body for shooting sports in South Africa. SASSCo is the highest body responsible for the development and promotion of target shooting sports in South Africa. SASSCo is registered with both SASCOC and Sport and Recreation South Africa (SRSA) as the officially recognised overall federation for shooting sports in South Africa, and is also affiliated to the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) and the African Shooting Sport Federation (ASSF).

The Pakistan women's national shooting team represents Pakistan in international shooting competitions. It is administered by the National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP). Members of the team compete in both rifle and pistol events at competitions including the continental and regional games. In 2016, Minhal Sohail became the first woman sports shooter from Pakistan to compete at the Summer Olympic Games when she participated on a quota place at the Rio Games.

The 2021 European Shooting Championships were held from 22 May to 5 June 2021 in Osijek, Croatia. 1,473 athletes from 52 countries competed.

Tehani Egodawela, also known as M. G. T. U. E. Egodawela, or Udeshika Egodawela is a Sri Lankan sports shooter and a current national record holder in shooting. She competed at the postponed 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">British Shooting</span> Governing body

British Shooting is the national governing body for ISSF shooting sport disciplines in the United Kingdom. The organisation serves as a single shooting body to receive public funding from UK Sport and Sport England, administer high performance squads and talent pathways as well as serve as the member body for shooting sports with organisations such as the British Olympic Association and ISSF.

The Icelandic Shooting Sports Federation is an organization on Iceland for sport shooting with pistol, rifle and shotgun. The federation was founded on 1979 February 16, and is internationally affiliated with the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), European Shooting Confederation (ESC), Nordic Shooting Region (NSR) and World Benchrest Shooting Federation (WBSF).
