Pakkhi Hegde (born 7 June 1985) is an Indian actress from Mumbai who is active mainly in Hindi serials, Bhojpuri, Tulu and Marathi films.

Career

Pakkhi Hegde a Tuluva from Mangalore, started her acting career with a lead role in a daily serial, Main Banoongi Miss India on DD National. [2]

She then worked with Manoj Tiwari in Bhaiya Hamar Dayavaan, Paramveer Parsuram and Ganga Jamuna Saraswati, [3] and with Pawan Singh in Pyar Mohabbat Zindabaad and Devar Bhabhi. [4] [5]

Hegde worked with Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan in the film Ganga Devi. [6] She played the female protagonist in the Marathi film Sat Na Gat , with Sayaji Shinde and Mahesh Manjrekar. She has also done a Tulu film, Bangarda Kural .

Personal life

Hegde has two daughters, Aashna Hedge and Khushi Hegde, and lives in Mumbai with her family.

Khiladi No. 1 is a 2008 Indian Bhojpuri language action drama film directed by Ramana Mogili, written by Rajendra Bharadwaj and produced by B O Subba Reddy. The film stars Dinesh Lal Yadav and Pakhi Hegdein and features Rami Reddy, Mukthar Khan, and Manoj Tiger in supporting roles. The soundtrack and score were composed by Dhananjay Mishra. Mohan Chand was the film's cinematographer. The Bhojpuri version was released on 8 August 2008. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Bhairavi and in Hindi as Ghayal Khiladi. The film holds the record for "Most Viewed Bhojpuri Film" on the YouTube channel "T-Series" with 11657414 million views. The film had the biggest opening for a Bhojpuri film and is considered the biggest Bhojpuri hit. The film is based on true events and addresses issues of rape, trafficking and crimes committed against women in India.

Gulabi is an Indian Marathi language film directed by Guddu Dhanoa and produced by Santosh Dhanoa, Aniket Karnik and Renuka Karnik. The film stars Sachin Khedekar , Pakkhi Hegde and Vineet Sharma. The film was released on 12 September 2014.
