Palestine participated in the 2023 Arab Games, which were held in Algeria from 5 to 15 July 2023. [1] The country sent delegations to appear in 12 sports. [2] Palestine has taken part in every edition since 1953, except for the 1957 edition in Beirut due to force majeure. [3]

Chahid Hamlaoui Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Constantine, Algeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has an actual capacity of 22,968 people. It serves as the home ground of CS Constantine and MO Constantine.
Club Sportif Constantinois, also known as CS Constantine or simply CSC for short, is an Algerian football club based in Constantine, Algeria. The club was founded in 1898, and its colours are green and black. Their home stadium, Chahid Hamlaoui Stadium, has a capacity of 22,968 spectators. The club is currently playing in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

The match was played on November 1, 2015 at Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine between 2014-15 Ligue 1 winners ES Sétif and 2014–15 Algerian Cup winners MO Béjaïa. ES Sétif won the match 1–0 with a lone goal in the 84th minute by El Hedi Belameiri.

The event included 22 sports with all 22 members of the Arab League participating. For the first time, five cities hosted the games: Algiers, Oran, Constantine, Annaba and Tipaza.

At the 2023 Arab Games, the weightlifting events were held at Bordj El Kiffan Multisports Hall in Bordj El Kiffan, Algiers, Algeria from 11 to 14 July. A total of 20 events were contested. Egypt was ranked first in the medal table.
