Panzer General III: Scorched Earth (2000) is a computer wargame by Mattel Interactive for Windows based on the game Panzer General 3D Assault .
Panzer General III: Scorched Earth is set in World War II on the Eastern Front. It shares the same engine as Panzer General 3D Assault, although the graphics are improved. It is considered by some to be the eastern Front expansion for Panzer General 3D, which only deals with the western front. The game features four campaigns for German and Russian forces from Moscow to Berlin. Due to the success of Panzer General 3D, it kept the same leader management system. The player begins the game with a pool of leaders that grows as the game progresses. Each leader specializes in a particular equipment class.

Panzer General is a 1994 computer wargame developed and published by Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI). It simulates conflict during World War II. The designers of Panzer General were heavily influenced by the Japanese wargame series Daisenryaku.
Strategic Simulations, Inc. (SSI) was a video game developer and publisher of over 100 games from its founding in 1979 to its dissolution in 1994. The company focused on computer wargames then later added role-playing video games. SSI published the Panzer General series and the official video game adaptations of Dungeons & Dragons.
Earth 2150, also known as Earth 2150: Escape from the Blue Planet, is a real-time strategy game, originally published in 2000 by SSI and Polish developer Reality Pump and a sequel to Earth 2140. 2150 was one of the first commercial full-3D games of its kind.
