Paraprevotella is a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, pleomorphic and anaerobic genus of bacteria from the family of Prevotellaceae. [2] [1] [3] [4] Paraprevotella clara and Paraprevotella xylaniphila have been isolated from human faeces. [2]
