The Boulevard des Belges is a wide and posh avenue located in Les Brotteaux quarter, in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon. It begins with the Quai de Grande Bretagne, runs along the southern part of the Parc de la Tête d'Or until the Avenue Verguin and ends on the Place Jules Ferry, in front of the Gare des Brotteaux. The boulevard is lined with plane trees and is served by two velo'v stations and the line B of the metro.

The construction for the modern Berges du Rhône took place between 2005 and 2007, resulting in the development of 10 hectares of land on the left and right banks of the Rhône from Parc de la Tête d'Or to Parc de Gerland.
Parc de Gerland, also called Parc du Confluent, is a large greenspace in Lyon situated on a former industrial site in the south of the city near the confluence of the Rhône and the Saone. Construction began in 1996, and the park was developed over an area of 80 hectares. The initial two phases of construction concluded in 2000 and 2006, and were carried out by landscape architect Michel Corajoud. The project was managed by Grand Lyon.

The park includes numerous sport facilities, including a running track, a hippodrome, and basketball courts. It is accessible by Lyon Metro Line D at Parilly station, by line T2 of the tramway at station Parilly-Université, and by bus 39.
Parc de Lacroix-Laval or Domaine de Lacroix-Laval is a park in the Rhône department in Marcy-l'Étoile, France. Opened to the public in 1985 it lies entirely within the limits of Marcy-l'Étoile but borders the communes of Charbonnières-les-Bains and la Tour-de-Salvagny.
