Parichay is an Indo-Canadian singer, [6] composer, and music producer. He has released four albums and collaborated in Bollywood film songs.

Career

Parichay collaborated in a remix of Yamla Pagla Deewana [7] and "O Meri Chandni" [1] from the film Chaar Din Ki Chandni which he sang with Sunidhi Chauhan. In 2016, he composed 4 out of 5 songs for the Bollywood film Loveshhuda . [8] [9] . He also sang 3 of them along with Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar and Teesha Nigam. [10] In June 2017, he released a new single titled 'Habitaan Vigaad Di' [11] which features Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri & Canadian rapper, Kardinal Offishall. Nargis, made her singing debut with this song. [12] Next, he released a single titled 'Saare Mundeya Nu' which features international pop/ urban artist, Sean Kingston. [13] Parichay also collaborated with Rapper, Fazilpuria, known for his hit song "Kar Gayi Chull" on their single titled "Let's Get The Party Started" [14]

Parichay has also collaborated with actress Sonakshi Sinha on the remake of the classic Bollywood song Tum Mile Dil Khile. [15] Another version of this song was also released and sung by Parichay himself along with singer Jonita Gandhi and features British Asian model & actress Sangeet Samra in the music video. [16]

Parichay's released a Desi Hip Hop track titled 'Champion' which features rappers Pardhaan, Raga, Haji Springer & Ace aka Mumbai. In addition to singing the hook, Parichay has composed and produced the music for this song. It was released by Sony Music India on Feb 28, 2020. [17]

In 2021, Parichay released his 4th studio album titled "Moodz". The album has 10 songs and features Jonita Gandhi, Happy Singh and Haji Springer. [18]

He rose to fame in 2003 with his song "Kangna", which was voted the best song on BBC Asian Network in the same year. His other hits are "Don't Be Shy" and "Jugni Ji", which won the best single award in 2012. He has worked with singer Kanika Kapoor for the song "Jugni Ji" and with musician Jaz Dhami for the song "Zulfa". His song "Aag Ka Dariya" features on the Four Lions film soundtrack. Banjo is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language musical action drama film, directed by Ravi Jadhav and produced by Krishika Lulla under the banner of Eros International. Principal photography began at the end of January 2016 and the film was released on 23 September 2016. Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri starred in the film. The film received mixed reviews upon its release and was declared a flop at the box office.

<i>Torbaaz</i> 2020 Indian film

Torbaaz is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Girish Malik. Sanjay Dutt plays the role of a medical professional that lost his wife and son while he was placed in the Indian Embassy in Kabul, while Nargis Fakhri and Rahul Dev play other prominent characters. Torbaaz was earlier scheduled for a theatrical release, which could not happen owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, after which the makers confirmed its distribution contract with Netflix. It was premiered on 11 December 2020 on Netflix.
