Benny Dayal (born 13 May 1984) is a UAE born Indian playback singer. He is a prominent singer in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati and Marathi and more languages films. He has sung more than 3500 songs in 19+ Indian languages. He is a member of the band S5, launched by SS Music TV channel. [1] He made his acting debut in the Malayalam movie By the People , a suspense thriller. All the songs were sung by S5 members and it was then that A.R. Rahman noticed him and took an audition.
Dayal's parents hail from Kollam district in Kerala. [2] He was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, UAE. After his schooling in the UAE he went on to complete his B.Com. and Masters in Journalism from Madras Christian College. [3]
Dayal worked as an Events Coordinator with RR Donnelley. He quit his job in BPO to accomplish his career in music. [4] On 5 June 2016, the singer married his model girlfriend Catherine Thangam in a close-knit ceremony in Bengaluru. [5] [6]

Pragyan, NIT Trichy is the annual techno-managerial festival of the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Saarang is the annual social and cultural festival of IIT Madras. It is a 5-day long festival usually in the second week of the year. Founded in 1974, Saarang is the second oldest college festival in India. It was started in the name of 'Mardi Gras' with a small number of quizzes and music events. It adopted the name 'Saarang' and grew with the help of corporate sponsorship, collaboration with large-scale event organizers and international artists.
Pearl is the annual national cultural fest of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. Initially introduced in 2009 as an intra-college festival, a year after the foundation of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, the fest grew into a national level college cultural fest with participation from more than 50 colleges across India with footfall around 8000. Pearl hosts a variety of cultural events and competitions which include music, dance, literary, photography and quizzing. The fest also hosts talks and pro-shows with celebrities and bands of national and international renown appearing and/or performing during the fest in the 15 years since its inception.
The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani is a private deemed university in Pilani, Rajasthan, India. It focuses primarily on higher education and research in engineering and sciences. BITS Pilani was one of the first six institutes in India to be declared Institution of Eminence. According to 2012 data, BITS Pilani has an acceptance rate of 1.47%, making it one of the most exclusive technical universities in the world.
Agam is a Bangalore-based contemporary Carnatic progressive rock band. The band was formed in the year 2003. The current lineup consists of Harish Sivaramakrishnan (vocals) Swamy Seetharaman, T Praveen Kumar, Aditya Kasyap, Sivakumar Nagarajan, Jagadish Natarajan and Yadhunandan (Drummer). Jagadish Natarajan replaced Suraj Satheesh as the rhythm guitarist in 2012 but the lineup of the band has otherwise remained same. Vignesh Lakshminarayanan was replaced by Aditya Kasyap on bass and backing vocals. Agam is often featured on the Malayalam music channel Kappa TV.
Waves is the annual cultural festival of BITS, K K Birla Goa Campus. It is a three-day-long festival held in the late October – early November period. It is a cultural festival that is held annually to celebrate music, dance and art. It is an inter college festival with students coming in to participate in events and competitions from all over the country.
Bennet and the Band is a backing band founded in 1998 by Bennet Roland, Guitarist/Music Director, from Kerala. Band specializes in genre based re-orchestration of popular melodies, Indian film tunes and traditional folk melodies for which the band uses session musicians lined up according to the type of music they need to play for the singer with whom they are jamming. Its performances with the singers often involve improvisation.
The Local Train is an Indian rock band formed in Chandigarh in 2008, and based in New Delhi since 2015. The band's current lineup consists of lead guitarist - Paras Thakur, bassist - Ramit Mehra, and drummer and percussionist - Sahil Sarin. In April 2022, the band announced that their vocalist / frontman Raman Negi has left the band.
