"Passin' Me By" is a song by American hip-hop group The Pharcyde,released in March 1993 through Delicious Vinyl Records. The song was the second single released from the group's 1992 debut album Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde . The song,produced by J-Swift,samples "Summer in the City" by Quincy Jones,"125th Street Congress" by Weather Report,and "Are You Experienced?" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
"Passin' Me By" was later sampled by Joe for his number one single "Stutter". A popular line from the song,"My dear my dear my dear you do not know me but I know you very well now let me tell you," was repeated in the same manner in "Stutter" (the remix featuring Mystikal) with the only difference between the lines being that the words "about the feelings I have for you" were changed to "that I caught you" in "Stutter."
The group's four emcees,Bootie Brown,Slimkid3,Imani,and Fatlip recount schoolboy crushes which all eventually led to heartbreak,with the chorus featuring Fatlip [1] singing,"She keeps on passin' me by" against a soprano saxophone riff. The song peaked atop the Hot Rap Singles,number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100,and number 28 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles &Tracks charts. [2]

The music video (directed by Sanji) is shot in black and white. The rappers are seen riding in the back seat of a car or rapping behind a fence. Throughout the video,the group is seen upside-down in comparison to the rest of the world.
The song was featured in the soundtrack for the video game NBA 2K9 as well as in the game Aggressive Inline . An instrumental clip of the song was used in the opening of the 1999 film Big Daddy . The song was remixed and called "Rinsing Quince" by Aphrodite in 2003.

The Pharcyde is an American hip hop group, formed in 1989, from South Central Los Angeles. The original four members of the group are Imani, Slimkid3, Bootie Brown, and Fatlip. DJ Mark Luv was the group's first disc jockey (DJ), followed by producer J-Swift.
Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde is the debut album by the American hip hop collective the Pharcyde, released on November 24, 1992, through the Delicious Vinyl and EastWest labels. The album was produced by former group member J-Swift, and features a guest appearance by Los Angeles rapper Bucwheed. In the years after its release, Bizarre Ride has been hailed by music critics and alternative hip hop fans as a classic hip hop album and has appeared in numerous publications' "best albums" lists.

The Stimulus Package is a collaborative studio album by Philadelphia rapper Freeway and Seattle producer Jake One. It was released on Minneapolis indie hip hop label Rhymesayers Entertainment on February 16, 2010. The album included two singles, "Know What I Mean" and "She Makes Me Feel Alright", both of which have had videos made for them. The package was designed by Brent Rollins of the ego trip collective. The album debuted at number 63 on the Billboard 200, selling over 9,000 units in its first week.

He rose to mainstream fame with the release of his 2019 single "Ransom", which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. The song preceded the release of his debut mixtape We Love You Tecca (2019), which peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and contained the follow-up singles "Love Me" and "Did It Again". His debut studio album, Virgo World (2020) peaked at number ten on the Billboard 200, while his second and third albums, We Love You Tecca 2 (2021) and Tec (2023) reached similar positions on the chart. His fourth studio album Plan A was released in 2024. Lil Tecca is a great rapper.
