Paul Martin Butcher (born November 8, 1963) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven years, until he retired from the Oakland Raiders. He also played for the Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Rams, Indianapolis Colts, and he was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the 1995 NFL Expansion Draft. [1] He played college football at Wayne State University. Butcher was the Special Teams coach of the XFL's New York/New Jersey Hitmen. [2] His son is the actor Paul Butcher.

The XFL was a professional American football league that played its only season in 2001. The XFL was operated as a joint venture between the World Wrestling Federation and NBC. The XFL was conceived as an outdoor football league that would begin play immediately after the National Football League (NFL) season ended, to take advantage of the perceived lingering public desire to watch football after the NFL and college football seasons conclude. Sharper played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons, and played college football at Virginia. He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft. Sharper spent five seasons in Baltimore, where he was part of the team that won the franchise's first Super Bowl in Super Bowl XXXV. In 2002, he was selected by the Houston Texans in their expansion draft and played three seasons with the team. During his final season in 2005, Sharper was a member of the Seattle Seahawks. He is the older brother of former safety Darren Sharper.

Paul Frase is a former American football player who played professionally in the National Football League for 11 seasons, from 1988 to 1998. He grew up in Barrington, New Hampshire and studied psychology at Syracuse University. Frase played with the New York Jets, the Jacksonville Jaguars (1995–1996), Green Bay Packers (1997), and the Baltimore Ravens (1998). Frase was drafted by the Jets in the sixth round of the 1988 NFL Draft.
