Paul Gregory Fisher (born 7 September 1958) [1] is a British economist,who left the Bank of England in July 2016 after 26 years service. In September 2016 he was appointed chair of the London Bullion Market Association and in December 2016,he became a non-executive director at the UK Debt Management Office. Fisher has been a visiting professor at Richmond,The American International University in London since 2012;and is a senior research fellow in the new DAFM Centre of the Business School at King's College London. He was chair of the board of trustees at the London Institute of Banking and Finance,from 2011 to 2017.
Since July 2016,he has also been a Senior Associate/Fellow at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL),where he works on issues around climate change and the financial sector in a pro bono capacity. CISL successfully nominated him to be a member of the EU High-Level Experts Group on Sustainable Finance from January 2017 to January 2018;the UK Green Finance Task Force from September 2017 to March 2018;and also as vice-chair of the CISL-supported Banking Environment Initiative.
Previously executive director of the Bank of England's Markets Directorate,he was appointed to the Bank of England's interest rate-setting Monetary Policy Committee from March 2009 to July 2014. [2] Following a reorganisation at the bank,Fisher relinquished his membership of the MPC with effect from 1 August 2014,replaced by Nemat Shafik. [3] He was appointed as Deputy Head of the Prudential Regulation Authority at the Bank of England in July 2014 and to its board from September 2015.
Fisher holds a BSc in economics with statistics from the University of Bristol,an MA in economics from the University of Warwick and a PhD in macroeconomic modelling,also from the University of Warwick. [4]

David Graham Blanchflower,,sometimes called Danny Blanchflower,is a British-American labour economist and academic. He is currently a tenured economics professor at Dartmouth College,Hanover,New Hampshire. He is also a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research,part-time professor at the University of Glasgow and a Bloomberg TV contributing editor. He was an external member of the Bank of England's interest rate-setting Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) from June 2006 to June 2009.
Sir Stephen John Nickell,is a British economist and former warden of Nuffield College,Oxford,noted for his work in labour economics with Richard Layard and Richard Jackman. Nickell and Layard hypothesised that the tendency for reduced unemployment to lead to inflation resulted from its effect on competitive bargaining in the labour market He is currently a member of the Office for Budget Responsibility's Budget Responsibility Committee.

Mahmoud Mohieldin, is an economist with more than 30 years of experience in international finance and development. He is the UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for Egypt. He is an Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund. He has been the United Nations Special Envoy on Financing the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda since February 2020. He was the Minister of Investment of Egypt from 2004-2010,and most recently,served as the World Bank Group Senior Vice President for the 2030 Development Agenda,United Nations Relations and Partnerships. His professional experience extends into the academic arena as a Professor of Economics and Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science,Cairo University and as a Visiting Professor at several renowned Universities in Egypt,Korea,the UAE,the UK and the USA. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of Durham University Business School. He also holds leading positions in national,regional and international research centres and associations. He has authored numerous publications and articles in leading journals in the fields of economics,finance and development.

Sir Paul Tucker is a British economist,central banker,and author. He was formerly the Deputy Governor of the Bank of England,with responsibility for financial stability,and served on the Bank's Monetary Policy Committee from June 2002 until October 2013 and its interim and then full Financial Policy Committee from June 2011. In November 2012 he was turned down for the position of governor in favour of Mark Carney. In June 2013,Tucker announced that he would leave the Bank of England,and later that he would be moving to Harvard. He was knighted in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to central banking. His first book,Unelected Power,was published in May 2018 and his second book,Global Discord was published in November 2022.

She served as the President and Vice Chancellor of the London School of Economics from September 2017 to June 2023. She also serves on the board of directors of the Bill &Melinda Gates Foundation.
