"Peace" is a song by Nigerian street-pop musician MohBad, released on 2 September 2022 through Marlian Music, and produced by Rexxie. [1] On 3 September 2022, the music video was released and directed by Ibidunni Oladayo. "Peace" debuted at number 25 on Nigeria's Top Street-POP Songs. [2] "Peace" peaked at number 5 on the Official Nigeria Top 100, [3] and number 8 on Nigeria radio. [4]

In the song, MohBad speaks about trying to find his peace, after being through many things and dealing with frenemies without resting.

Following the passing of the singer, the song gained 837,000 on-demand streams within September 12 – 14 2023, [6] as reported by TurnTable. In the report, "Peace" gained about 1378% in the two and half days. [6] He became the 46th best-selling digital artiste in the world. On 15 September 2023, the song debuted at number 1 on Apple Music in Nigeria. [7] On the week of 23 September 2023, "Peace" debut on Billboard Hot Trending Songs Powered by X chart at number 2. [8] On 23 September 2023, TheCable's TCL Radio ranked "Peace" at number two, on its weekly top 10 most played songs on airplay in Nigeria. [9] TheCable's also said; MohBad dethroned Burna Boy's "City Boys" from the number 1 spot. [9] In 2023, MohBad set a new Spotify record with "Peace" after the demise. "For My Hand" is a song by Nigerian singer Burna Boy, featuring vocals from English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. It was released through Atlantic Records on 8 July 2022 as the second single from Burna Boy's sixth studio album, Love, Damini, along with the album. Burna Boy and Ed Sheeran wrote the song with producer P2J. It marks the second collaboration between the two artists, as they were both featured on British rapper Stormzy's single, "Own It", from his second studio album, Heavy Is the Head (2019). On 30 June 2022, Sheeran brought Burna Boy out during his performance at Wembley Stadium in his home country of the United Kingdom, in which the two artists performed "For My Hand" for the first time.

Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, professionally known as Qing Madi, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and dancer. She gained widespread recognition after her 2022 single "See Finish" and its 2023 follow-up, "Ole". Both went viral on TikTok, which later peaked at number one on the Uganda Top 100 Apple Music chart and number three on the Nigeria Top 100 Apple Music chart. Both songs were released as singles from Madi's debut extended play, Qing Madi (2023).

On 12 September 2023, Nigerian musician MohBad died in Lagos, at the age of 27. The nurse who administered a Tetanus vaccine on him, was arrested and found to be an unlicensed nurse on 19 September 2023 by the Lagos State Police Command.
