Phil Mallow (born July 6,1957) is an American politician serving as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates.
Mallow first ran for the 50th district in the 2014 West Virginia House of Delegates election but lost. He lost again in the 2016 West Virginia House of Delegates election. He lost again in the 2018 West Virginia House of Delegates election. He first won an election in the 2020 West Virginia House of Delegates election. He was redistricted to the 75th district in the 2022 West Virginia House of Delegates election. He won the Republican primary and is the party's nominee in the 2024 West Virginia House of Delegates election. [1]
Mallow earned a degree in quality control technology from Allegany College of Maryland in 1977. He worked for United Parcel Service from 1979 to 2012. [2] He is a Baptist. [3]
The 1872–73 United States House of Representatives elections were held on various dates in various states between June 4,1872,and April 7,1873. Each state set its own date for its elections to the House of Representatives before the first session of the 43rd United States Congress convened on December 1,1873. They coincided with the re-election of United States President Ulysses S. Grant. The congressional reapportionment based on the 1870 United States census increased the number of House seats to 292.

Each state set its own date for its elections to the House of Representatives. Members were elected before the first session of the 39th United States Congress convened on December 4,1865,including the at-large seat from the new state of Nevada,and the 8 from Tennessee,the first secessionist state to be readmitted. The other 10 secessionist states had not yet been readmitted,and therefore were not seated.

Each state set its own date for its elections to the House of Representatives before the first session of the 38th United States Congress convened on December 7,1863. The congressional reapportionment based on the 1860 United States census was performed assuming the seceded states were still in the union,increasing the number of congressional districts to 241. West Virginia was given three seats from Virginia after the former broke away from the latter to rejoin the union as a separate state. The seceded states remained unrepresented and left 58 vacancies. Republicans lost 22 seats and the majority,while Democrats gained 28.
