Phil Pouech (born 1957) is an American politician from Vermont. He has been a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives for the Chittenden-4 District since 2023. [1]
The governor of Vermont is the head of government of the U.S. state of Vermont. The officeholder is elected in even-numbered years by direct voting for a term of two years. Vermont and bordering New Hampshire are the only states to hold gubernatorial elections every two years,instead of every four as in the other 48 U.S. states.

Randolph D. "Randy" Brock III is an American politician from the state of Vermont and a member of the Republican Party. He currently serves in the Vermont Senate and is the first African American caucus leader in Vermont. He served as the Vermont Auditor of Accounts from 2005 to 2007 and as a member of the Vermont Senate from 2009 to 2013,and was the Republican nominee for Governor of Vermont in 2012,losing to Democratic incumbent Peter Shumlin. The Vermont Republican Party is the affiliate of the Republican Party in Vermont and has been active since its foundation in the 1860s. The party is the second largest in the state behind the Vermont Democratic Party,but ahead of the Vermont Progressive Party. The party historically dominated Vermont politics until the mid-20th century,but was replaced by the Vermont Democratic Party. The party currently has very weak federal electoral power in the state,controlling none of Vermont's federal elected offices. The only statewide office that the party currently controls is the governorship,held by Phil Scott.
