Jed Lipsky is an American politician from Vermont. He has been a member of the Vermont House of Representatives for the Lamoille-1 District since 2023. [1]

John Phillip Lipsky is an American economist. He was the acting managing director of the International Monetary Fund from May to July 2011. He assumed the post of acting managing director after Dominique Strauss-Kahn was arrested in May 2011 accused of sexual assault. After the appointment of Christine Lagarde he returned to his post as the first deputy managing director of the IMF. He retired from the IMF in November 2011 and is currently a distinguished visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).

It was the 44th edition of the Winston-Salem Open, and was part of the ATP World Tour 250 Series of the 2012 ATP World Tour. It took place at the Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States, from August 19 through August 25, 2012. It was the last event on the 2012 US Open Series before the 2012 US Open. John Isner won the singles title.

<i>The End of the Tour</i> 2015 film by James Ponsoldt

The End of the Tour is a 2015 American drama film about writer David Foster Wallace. The film stars Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg, was written by Donald Margulies, and was directed by James Ponsoldt. Based on David Lipsky's best-selling memoir Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself, screenwriter Margulies first read the book in 2011, and sent it to Ponsoldt, a former student of his, who took on the job of director. Filming took place in early 2014 in Michigan, with scenes also shot at the Mall of America. Danny Elfman provided the score, with the soundtrack featuring songs by musicians like R.E.M. and Brian Eno, whose inclusion was based on the kind of music Wallace and Lipsky listened to.

Treat Huey and Scott Lipsky were the defending champions, but chose not to compete together. Huey played alongside Max Mirnyi, but lost in the semifinals to Eric Butorac and Lipsky.
Butorac and Lipsky went on to win the title, defeating Łukasz Kubot and Marcin Matkowski in the final, 6–4, 3–6, [10–8].

The 2017 Tallahassee Tennis Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on green clay courts. It was the 18th edition of the tournament to be part of the 2017 ATP Challenger Tour. It took place in Tallahassee, Florida, United States between 24 and 29 April 2017. The men's singles final of the tournament was won by Blaz Rola of Slovenia, whilst the doubles title was won by Scott Lipsky and Leander Paes.
