Pierce Wallace, also known as the Georgia Joker, is an American sports fan, television personality and actor best known for being inducted into ESPN's Fan Hall of Fame for portraying the Joker at University of Georgia football games. Wallace was also a contestant on season 3 of FBOY Island and an actor who appeared in the film Hemet, or the Landlady Don't Drink Tea (2023).

Personal life

Wallace grew up in Valdosta, Georgia [1] [2] as the son of the podiatrist Mike Wallace, and a high school teacher, Carol Wallace. [3] He is a fraternal triplet [1] with brothers Austin and Doyle, and also has a sister, Madalyn. [3] Wallace attended Valdosta High School [4] where he played basketball, was assistant head coach for golf and was nominated for homecoming king in 2012. [1] He graduated high school in 2013 shortly after competing against 15 other students and winning a Scion iQ through VHS and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College's Keys To The Future Program for lack of absences and tardiness. [5] [6] Wallace signed an academic scholarship for the University of Georgia. [7]

2013–2018: Georgia Joker

During his freshman year of college at University of Georgia, Wallace was 6'5'' [1] and wore Joker makeup for the Georgia Bulldogs' first game against South Carolina. ESPN tweeted about it [8] and Wallace posted a video of himself impersonating Heath Ledger's The Dark Knight character [9] for the game against Louisiana State University. [10] With more than 85,000 votes, [8] he made it to the top 3 finalists for ESPN's Fan Hall of Fame. In 2014, Wallace was inducted at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut. [11] [12] The character was inspired by Wallace's enthusiasm for the Batman franchise. [13] [14]

Career

After moving to Los Angeles, Wallace became a yoga instructor and was cast in season 3 of FBOY Island. [15] Abbie Smith at The Daily Beacon quoted him and described Wallace as the season's hippie. [16] Wallace was eliminated by Hali Okeowo in episode 5. [15]

The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Wrestling Legends Hall of Heroes is a professional wrestling hall of fame that honors people who have competed or played other major roles in the NWA. Organized by wrestling promoter Greg Price, the hall is separate from the NWA Hall of Fame and is not officially endorsed by the company, but the NWA has given permission for the use of its name.
