Pino Jeffta Udayana Bahari (born 15 October 1972) is an Indonesian boxer, who won a middleweight gold medal at the 1990 Asian Games for Indonesia. He is older brother of Indonesian Olympic boxer, Nemo Bahari.
At the 1990 Asian Games, Pino won a gold medal after defeating Mongolian boxer Bandiin Altangerel in final. [1] He participated in several editions of the SEA Games, but failed to win gold medal. [2] After winning 1996 National Sports Week gold medal for Bali, he retired from boxing. [2]
After retiring, he became a trainer. He also helped his father, Daniel Bahari, managing a professional boxing event promoter. [3] He participated in the 2014 election as a DPR RI legislative candidate from Bali, but was not elected. [4]
Sports in Indonesia are popular from both the participation and spectating aspect. Some popular sports in Indonesia are football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and the native Indonesian martial art pencak silat. Badminton is arguably Indonesia's most successful sport. Indonesia has won gold medals in badminton in every Olympic Games since the sport was first introduced to the Olympics in 1992, with the exception of two, at the 2012 and 2024 Summer Olympics, although in latter Games, Indonesia clinched a gold medal for the first time in sport climbing and weightlifting, respectively. Indonesia became the first grand winner in Badminton Olympics back then 1992. Indonesia regularly participates in the Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, and Sudirman Cup badminton championships, then became the first nation in history to complete those three titles. Indonesia also regularly participates in regional multi-events sport, such as the Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games, and Olympic Games. Indonesia is one of the major sport powerhouses in the Southeast Asian region, winning the Southeast Asian Games 10 times since 1977.
Indonesia first participated in the Olympic Games in 1952 and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Olympic Games since then, except for two; in 1964 due to controversy around the 1962 Asian Games when they banned Israel and the then-internationally recognized Republic of China which resulted in a ban for their track and field team, and in 1980, when they participated in the U.S.-led boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics. The National Olympic Committee for Indonesia was created in 1946 and recognized in 1952. The country has never participated in the Winter Olympic Games, which can be explained by the lack of sporting facilities for winter sports on its territory.
Indonesia is a member of the Southeast Asian Zone of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), and has competed in all editions of the Asian Games since it was first held in 1951, one of only seven countries to do so.

Christie was part of Indonesia's winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.
Nesthy Alcayde Petecio is a Filipino amateur boxer. She won a silver medal in the inaugural women's featherweight event at the 2020 Summer Olympics, becoming the first Filipino woman to win an Olympic medal in boxing, and won a bronze medal in the women's flyweight event at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She also won a silver medal at the 2014 World Championships and gold at the 2019 edition.

Apriyani Rahayu is an Indonesian badminton player specializing in doubles. She and Greysia Polii won the gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics champions in the women's doubles. She won gold at the 2019 SEA Games, and two bronze medals at the World Championships in 2018 and 2019. Rahayu also won bronze medals at the 2018 Asian Games in the women's team and doubles with her former partner Polii.

Khoiful Mukhib is an Indonesian male mountain cyclist. In the 2018 Asian Games, he won a gold medal for downhill cycling after scoring a time of 2 minutes, 16.687 seconds.
Ade Candra Rachmawan is an Indonesian beach volleyball player from Yogyakarta. Rachmawan who won the silver medal at the 2011 SEA Games with partner Dian Putra Sentosa. In a team with Koko Prasetyo Darkuncoro, they won the silver medal at the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games. He and Darkuncoro also competed in the 2014 Asian Games. They finished in the fourth position after they lost to a Chinese pair in the bronze medal match. Rachmawan and Darkuncoro then claimed the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand.
Hanifan Yudani Kusumah is an Indonesian pencak silat practitioner. He won a gold medal in the 2018 Asian Games, after previously winning a bronze medal in the 2017 SEA Games.
Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club. He won the mixed doubles and men's team gold medals in 2023 SEA Games.
Pitha Haningtyas Mentari is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Jaya Raya Jakarta badminton club. She won the gold medal at the 2017 World Junior Championships, and bronze medals at the 2019 and 2021 SEA Games in the mixed doubles with Rinov Rivaldy. Mentari was also a member of the Indonesian women's team that won the silver medal in 2019 and 2021 SEA Games.
Yeremia Erich Yotje Yacob Rambitan is an Indonesian badminton player, who also plays for Exist Jakarta in the national event. He won the gold medals at the 2022 Asian Championships and 2023 SEA Games. In his young age, Rambitan won the mixed doubles Junior National Championships title in 2016, and the boys' doubles bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in 2017.
Rahmat Erwin Abdullah is an Indonesian weightlifter. He is a two-time gold medalist in the men's 73 kg event at the World Weightlifting Championships. He won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He is a weightlifter competing in the 73 kg class since 2018 World Weightlifting Championships in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. He made his international debut at the 2017 Youth World Weightlifting Championships held in Bangkok, Thailand in the 69 kg class.
Veddriq Leonardo is an Indonesian competition climber who specializes in competition speed climbing. He has held the world record for the discipline for about a year twice, first after setting it en route to winning the men's speed climbing event at the 2021 IFSC Climbing World Cup in Salt Lake City, and again at the 2023 IFSC Climbing World Cup in Seoul. He is the current Olympic champion, having won speed climbing in 2024, thus becoming the first Indonesian non-badminton Olympic gold medalist.
