Pir Mahmud (Persian : پيرمحمود‎, also Romanized as Pīr Maḩmūd)^[1] is a village in Qaleh-ye Khvajeh Rural District, in the Central District of Andika County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 51, in 10 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Qaleh-ye Khvajeh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Andika County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 13,094, in 2,218 families. The rural district has 97 villages.
