Podokoyo has a cold subtropical highland climate (Cwb) with heavy to very heavy rain in summer and light to moderate rainfall in winter. Being one of the coldest settlements in Java, its average temperature profile is identical to Skopje, North Macedonia as it contains strong oceanic characteristics.

Indonesia, officially the Republic of Indonesia, is a country in Southeast Asia and Oceania between the Indian and Pacific oceans. Tasikmalaya is a city in West Java, Indonesia. The city is sometimes dubbed kota santri or "the City of a Thousand Pesantrens" for its abundance of Islamic boarding schools. Located around 120 kilometres (75 mi) southeast from the provincial capital of Bandung, Tasikmalaya is passed by Indonesian National Route 3.

Lamongan Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of East Java, Indonesia. It has a total land area of approximately 1,812.8 km2 (699.9 sq mi) or + 3.78% of the area of East Java Province. With a length of 47 km along the coastline, the sea area of Lamongan Regency is about 902.4 km2, if calculated to a distance of 12 miles across the ocean surface. At the 2010 Census it had a population of 1,179,059; the 2020 Census produced a total of 1,379,628. The administrative centre is the town of Lamongan.
Tasikmalaya Regency is a regency in the province of West Java, Indonesia. It covers an area of 2,708.82 km2, and had a population of 1,687,776 at the 2010 Census, which rose to 1,865,203 at the 2020 Census. Located in the southeastern region of Priangan (Preanger), the Regency is by far the biggest and the most important regency in East Preanger. The Regency was previously administered from Tasikmalaya City, which however is now administratively independent of the Regency, and the administrative centre of the Regency is now at Singaparna to the west of the city.
