Police Line is an Indian Marathi language film directed by Raju Parsekar and produced by Rupali Dipak Pawar and Vaishali Nitin Pawar. The film stars Santosh Juvekar, Sayali Sanjiv, Jayant Savarkar, Satish Pulekar, Pradeep Patwardhan and Nisha Parulekar. Music by Pravin Kunwar and Abhishek Shinde. Police officer Karad is posted to a new area, where he is visited by a gang of goons who bully him. When his senior appears there, the thugs run away and Karad is reprimanded by him.

Police Line film received mixed reviews from critics. Ganesh Matkari of Pune Mirror wrote "Police Line would have worked far better if it had been conceived more as film and less as a petition for the betterment of the police force". [4] Soumitra Pote of Maharashtra Times wrote "Overall, the intention of presenting the life of the police has been achieved in this movie. But if these shortcomings were removed, this movie would have been more successful". [5] A Reviewer of Lokmat wrote "This is a positive film about the police; But if its setting was more powerful, this film would have been more memorable". [6]
Satish Vasant Alekar is a Marathi playwright, actor, and theatre director. A founder member of the Theatre Academy of Pune, and most known for his plays Mahanirvan (1974), Mahapoor (1975), Atirekee (1990), Pidhijat (2003), Mickey ani Memsahib (1973), and Begum Barve (1979), all of which he also directed for the Academy. Along with Mahesh Elkunchwar and Vijay Tendulkar he is considered among the most influential and progressive playwrights in modern Marathi and Indian theatre.

Chaandi is a 2013 Indian film based on the 1957 short story, "Mhais", by Marathi writer Purushottam Laxman Deshpande. Chaandi shows the chaos created by a buffalo, when she comes under a street bus which is going to Mumbai from a small village in Konkan. What follows is a chaotic drama comedy, between the owners of the buffalo and the passengers in the bus, which depicts typical demeanour, nature and attitude of the Marathi manoos in konkan and local politics.

Ramabai Bhimrao Ambedkar is a 2011 Indian biographical film in Marathi language, based on the life of Ramabai Ambedkar also known as Ramai wife of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Despite all the hardships, Rambai kept her husband motivated and stood like a rock behind her husband's mission of uplifting the underprivileged classes of the country. This is first film made on Ramabai. The film is directed by Prakash Jadhav and featured Nisha Parulekar, Ganesh Jethe and Dashrath Hatiskar as lead characters.
