Port of Makassar, also known as Port of Soekarno-Hatta, is a seaport in Makassar, Indonesia. It is the largest cargo traffic hub in Sulawesi. It is considered a primary port (Pelabuhan Kelas Utama) by the Indonesian Government, along with the Port of Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), Port of Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), and Port of Belawan (Medan). An expansion to the port, dubbed New Port Makassar, is under construction with an expected additional capacity of 1.5 million TEUs [4] in its first phase. The Indonesian Ministry of Transportation has expressed a desire to designate the port as hub for the rest of Eastern Indonesia, [5] in accordance to the Joko Widodo government's maritime axis program.
As of 2021, Makassar New Port construction has entered stages 1B and 1C with investments of Rp2.8 trillion, after stage 1A was finished and had been operating since early November 2018. Until the start of 2021, the progress of the Makassar New Port construction project has reached 63.75% in the last two years in 2019 and 2020. Makassar New Port construction is set to finish by the end of 2022.

Makassar, formerly Ujung Pandang, is the capital of the Indonesian province of South Sulawesi. Palu, officially known as the City of Palu, is the capital and largest city of Central Sulawesi Province in Indonesia. Palu is the center of finance, government, and education in Central Sulawesi, as well as one of several major cities on the island. Kendari is the capital city of the Indonesian province of Southeast Sulawesi. It had a population of 289,966 at the 2010 Census and 345,107 at the 2020 census, making it the most populous city in the province, and the fourth most on Sulawesi. The official estimate as at mid 2023 was 351,085 - comprising 176,279 males and 174,806 females. The city covers an area of 270.14 square kilometers (104.30 sq mi), or about 0.7 percent of Southeast Sulawesi's land area. Located on Kendari Bay, it continues to be an important trade center, with the province's main port and airport. It is the economic and educational center of the province, home to various universities and colleges. Kendari has the highest Human Development Index (HDI) in Sulawesi.
Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport is an international airport serving Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is located 20 km (12 mi) northeast of Makassar's city centre and is operated by PT. Angkasa Pura I. The current terminal was opened on 20 August 2008. The airport is the main gateway for flights to the eastern part of Indonesia, and named after Sultan Hasanuddin (1631–1670), a Sultan of Gowa, who fought against the Dutch East India Company in the 1660s.
Tanjungpandan, also colloquially written as Tanjung Pandan, is the largest town on the island of Belitung in the Indonesian province of Bangka Belitung Islands. Tanjungpandan is the capital of the Belitung Regency comprising one of the five districts (kecamatan) within that Regency. It covers an area of 378.45 km2 and had a population of 86,487 at the 2010 Census and 103,062 at the 2020 Census.
Port of Tanjung Priok is the busiest and most advanced seaport in Indonesia, handling more than 50% of Indonesia's trans-shipment cargo traffic. The port is located at Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, which is operated by Indonesian state owned PT Pelindo. The port has 20 terminals for accommodating general cargo, liquid bulk, dry bulk, containers, etc. It has specialised facilities cater to oil tankers, chemical-laden ships, metal scrap and passengers.
PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), trading as Pelindo, is Indonesian state-owned port operation company that offers an integrated port service throughout Indonesia. Pelindo officially founded on 1 October 2021 as a result of integration between four state-owned enterprises PT Pelindo I (Persero), PT Pelindo II (Persero), PT Pelindo III (Persero) and PT Pelindo IV (Persero); with PT Pelindo II as the surviving company. The establishment of Pelindo is a strategic initiative of the government as a shareholder to realize national connectivity and a stronger logistics ecosystem network. Maritime connectivity is projected to improve, whether it is local ports, or international ports.
Port of Tanjung Perak is the second busiest sea port in Indonesia, located at Surabaya, East Java. It is the main port for the eastern part of the island of Java. The port is accessed from the North through the Madura Strait, a 25-mile (40-kilometer) long, 100-meter (110-yard) wide, and 9.5-meter (31-foot) deep channel between East Java and Madura Island. Because of its strategic position and the existence of surrounding advantageous hinterlands, the port constitutes the center of inter island shipping for Eastern Indonesia. Container terminal of the port is known as Terminal Petikemas. The port loaded and unloaded 3.55 million and 3.8 million TEUs of cargo during 2017 and 2018 respectively.
Port of Tanjung Emas is a seaport in Semarang, Indonesia. It is the seaport in Semarang, which is located about 5 km from Tugu Muda of the city center. It was constructed in the nineteenth century by the Dutch colonial government, for use in exporting sugar and various agricultural products coming from the hinterlands in Central Java, replacing a heavily silted, pre-colonial port. The port has been operated by Pelindo since 1985.
Patimban Deep Sea Port is a seaport at Subang Regency, West Java, Indonesia. It is located about 70 kilometers from the Karawang Industrial Estate and 145 kilometers from the city center of capital Jakarta, where many Japanese industrial firms, particularly automotive manufacturers operate. The port comprises a total area of 654 hectares in which 300 hectares will be specialized for intermodal containers and vehicle terminals while the remaining 354 hectares will be used as a back-up area. The port development is expected to be fully completed by 2027. The port operation was officially inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on 20 December 2020 after completion of first phase construction.
The Port of Krueng Geukueh, sometimes called the Port of Lhokseumawe, is a seaport in Aceh, Indonesia, located on the Strait of Malacca.
Port of Kuala Tanjung is a sea port at Batubara Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Once fully functional the port can accommodate 60 million TEUs per year as the biggest port in West Indonesia, bigger than Port of Tanjung Priok in Jakarta. The first phase of development of Kuala Tanjung Multipurpose Terminal was inaugurated in 2018. The first ship to dock at the port was the cruise ship SuperStar Libra on 5 April 2018 from Port Klang, Malaysia. The port made its debut in the global container market, with its first shipment on 28 March, 2020.
Tanjung Api Airport, is an airport near Ampana, the capital city of the Tojo Una-Una Regency, in the province of Central Sulawesi on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. It serves the town of Ampana as well as the surrounding region.
Kijing International Port, is an under-construction seaport located in Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. It is developed by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II as an international seaport to support the economic development in western Kalimantan. Originally named as Kijing Terminal, the port will be renamed as Port of Tanjungpura, by the suggestion of Governor Sutarmidji, after the historical Tanjungpura Kingdom.
Port of Bitung is a seaport located on Jalan D.S Sumolang in Bitung, North Sulawesi, in Indonesia. It is the largest port in the province, consists of both container and passenger ship ports. The port serves as a hub for most exports originated from North Sulawesi and other areas of eastern Indonesia to destinations such as Philippines and Vietnam. There are also ferry routes linking Bitung with General Santos and Davao City.

pembuatan tahun 1663 KRI Tanjung Nusanive (973) was a troop ship of the Indonesian Navy. The ship was built at Meyer Werft, Papenburg and completed in 1984 as passenger ferry KM Kambuna of the state-owned Pelni shipping company. KM Kambuna served with Pelni until 2005 when she was transferred to the Indonesian Navy, which operated the ship until its decommissioning in early 2020.
The Port of Tanjung Api-Api is a seaport in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, Indonesia. Completed in 2007, it began passenger ferry operations to Muntok in 2013, and cargo operations in 2019.
