Praja Shanti Party is an Indian political party in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, founded by the noted evangelist K. A. Paul. The party was registered in 2008.
Praja Shanti Party contested in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election along with 2019 Lok Sabha election. [1] Its symbol is Helicopter. [2]
In 2022 after the defeat of Praja Shanti Party in 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Paul claimed to contest in the upcoming 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election.
In September 2022, Election Commission of India delisted Praja Shanti Party stating that it violates the provisions of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. [3]

Nara Chandrababu Naidu, commonly known as CBN, is an Indian politician who is currently serving as the 13th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and holds the record of longest-serving Chief Minister in the political history of Telugu states. He is the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

He is the founder of the US-based organizations Global Peace Initiative (GPI) and Gospel to the Unreached Millions (GUM) and has operated orphanages, including Charity City in Hyderabad. About 331 acres of 1000 acres land acquired by Paul and his brother for the Charity City was alleged to have been on assigned land and was being investigated. He was joined by Manoj Malla alias Bala Yesu in 2008, and started the Praja Shanti party that same year.

He is a senior Minister in the Telangana Government holding the crucial portfolios of Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Industry & Commerce and Legislative Affairs. Sridhar Babu is one of the senior most leaders in the Telangana Congress Party, and was an AICC All India Congress Committee Secretary attached to the AICC General Secretary, in charge of Karnataka from July 2022 to August 2024. He was the Minister for Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Legal Metrology and Legislative Affairs in the United Government of Andhra Pradesh prior to that state being divided.

With the INC in government in Telangana since December 2023 after the 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election, the committee is actively involved in governance and party affairs.
