Prakash Jarwal is an Indian politician from the Aam Admi Party,currently representing Deoli constituency in the Delhi State Legislature. [1] [2] [3]
Jarwal is the youngest candidate of Aam Aadmi Party,25 years old. Jarwal has left his job of assistant manager in a multinational company,to join the anti-Corruption movement and later AAP. [4] Jarwal has been jailed for an alleged assault on a Delhi Jal Board junior engineer. [5]
On 21 July 2017,Jarwal was booked for molesting and harassing a woman who was allegedly a member of the Rashtravadi Janata Party. [6]
On 20 February 2018,an assault case was filed by Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash against Jarwal and fellow legislator Amanatullah Khan for allegedly slapping and abusing him at the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. [7] He was granted bail on 9 March. [8] In 2021,a Delhi court dismissed the assault case filed by the Delhi bureaucrat against Kejriwal and ten AAP MLAs and discharged them of all charges. The court noted that "no prima facie case" was made against them. [9]
On 18 April 2020,a 52-year-old doctor,Rajendra Singh,had allegedly committed suicide,holding Jarwal responsible in his suicide note following which police had registered a case against the legislator on charges of extortion and abetment to suicide. [10]

The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) is the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), one of the two major political parties in India. It was founded in 1978, and its first national president was Kalraj Mishra.
Arvind Kejriwal is an Indian politician, former bureaucrat, and activist who is the 7th and current Chief Minister of Delhi since February 2015. Currently, he is the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, which won the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections with a historic majority, obtaining 67 out of 70 seats. He was also the Chief Minister of Delhi from December 2013 to February 2014, stepping down after 49 days of assuming power. In 2006, Kejriwal was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award for his involvement in the Parivartan movement using right to information legislation in a campaign against government corruption. The same year, after resigning from Government service, he founded the Public Cause Research Foundation to campaign for transparant governance.
Alka Lamba is an Indian politician serving for the Indian National Congress. After serving the Indian National Congress in various capacities for more than 20 years, she quit to join the Aam Aadmi Party on 26 December 2014. In February 2015, Lamba was elected to the Delhi Legislative Assembly from Chandni Chowk. She quit AAP in September 2019 citing disrespect for her within the party. On 6 September 2019, she formally returned to the Congress party. She was however disqualified from the Delhi assembly by Delhi speaker for violating the rules for party change over a gesture of strong warning to tainted turncoats.
