Prigorodny District (Russian : Пригородный райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia. [1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Gornouralsky Urban Okrug (Горноура́льский городско́й о́круг). [7] [5] The area of the district is 3,513 square kilometers (1,356 sq mi). [3] Its administrative center is the city of Nizhny Tagil [2] (which is not administratively a part of the district).
