Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer is a government medical college located in Ajmer (Rajasthan), India. Established in 1965, it is one of six government-run medical colleges in the western state of Rajasthan, and the fourth to be established in the state. It is affiliated with RUHS, and provides education leading to the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and the MS/MD/DM degrees. It also offers diplomas and other degrees in medical disciplines. Before the establishment of RUHS, in 2005, it was affiliated with Rajasthan University. It publishes the Ajaymeru Journal of Medical Education and Research (AJMER).

The Government College Chamba generally known as Government Post Graduate College, Chamba at Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India was established in 1958. The College is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and has switched to Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for Under Graduate classes from academic session 2013-14 under the guidelines of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). All India Institutes of Medical Sciences university system in India

The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous government public medical colleges of higher education. These institutes have been declared by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance. AIIMS New Delhi, the forerunner institute, was established in 1956. Since then, 22 more institutes were announced. As of January 2020, fifteen institutes are operating and eight more are expected to become operational until 2025.
